A highly technical and strategic role, the CI Data Science Product Manager will interface with internal and external partners and have overall responsibility for managing CI AI/ML products from its inception to deployment at scale.

Key responsibilities for the role are:

  • Lead and actively participate in requirement gathering sessions and work with other CI and business resources to fully document such requirements.

  • Participate in feasibility discussions and put forward design proposals for data science products/modules related to trade investment optimization and product management.

  • Lead formulation of data science tasks for trade optimization and shopper profiling.

  • Oversee development of ML and DS algorithms, testing and validation.

  • Oversee pre delivery quality assurance and automated load analysis.

  • Provide post rollout support for data science products.

  • Provide project management support including planning and documentation, daily project tracking, using agile methodology.

  • Support Head of CI with managing daily development tasks and resources.

  • Support Head of CI with project proposals, review and decision making for data science research initiatives and collaboration with external partners (academia, research institutions and government agencies).

  • Fully participate in agile ceremonies and provide direct contribution to Big Room Planning sessions in initiatives involving data science products run and managed by CI team.

  • Work closely with other team members and internal and external partners (NA/Global D&A, Market Uniops, Business Stakeholders, Third Party Vendors) to manage issue resolution and ensure timely communication. 

  • Participate in special projects.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • University Degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Math or similar – MSC in any of the above fields preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Science/Advanced Analytics with at least 2 years in managing DS products at scale

  • Experience in developing statistical and ML models, strong data and analytics skills, thorough knowledge of product development lifecycle is a must have.

  • In Depth knowledge of R/Python, SQL, Teras, TensorFlow and Docker Container is required.

  • Hands On practice in optimization models is preferred

  • Experience in working in an agile setting is preferred

  • Additionally, successful candidates will possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, along with practical creativity and the ability to work independently.
