Job Summary

Engineering Program Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing engineering electrical design standards, equipment/system specifications for both HV/LV, electrical safety standards, lead electrical designs for large capital projects and lead electrical technology global platform as Tech Authority Level 1

You will work closely with internal and external global/cluster stakeholders and leaders from manufacturing sustainability, cluster engineering,  Safety, Health and Environment teams and engineering streams. The incumbent will be responsible for all areas of the Electrical Engineering function, energy assessment program, sustainability projects, renewable technology solutions and digitalization support for utility plants.

Job Description:-

  • Develop minimum mandatory electrical engineering design standards and guidelines to support different business requirements

  • Support in creating an electrical engineering vision and implementing best practices, troubleshooting support strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve site performance

  • Ensure that electrical engineering strategies and processes are in place and available to engineering community for their day-to-day needs

  • Lead electrical engineering design work, review 3rd party consultant drawings/document to ensure all minimum mandatory standards are implemented in new capital projects

  • Support energy assessment global program for various factories across globe to reduce GJ/Ton energy performance

  • Drive initiatives and implementation of electrical projects across clusters & provide guidance and support to technical authorities

  • Introduce innovative technology solutions for continuous improvement in safety, reliability and efficiency

  • Support IT teams on ELV systems (Fire Alarm, Public Address, Voice & IT)

  • Provide guidance for electrical safety audits, support incident investigation & root cause analysis program and update safety standards on regular basis

  • Provide insights on digitalization program and participate with key stakeholders to implement the best solution in factories

  • Lead capability development program and conduct training sessions for engineering community

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance

  • Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the engineering strategy

Qualification: -

B.E/B-Tech (Engineering Degree) Electrical/Electrical & Electronics


Experience in electrical design expertise, experience on energy saving solutions and digital awareness preferred.
