We are looking for anAssociate Consumer Market Insights Manager, Dove Men+CareInnovation. This role is a critical part of Dove Men+Care’sCMI team and responsible for cutting edge insight delivery across our male grooming categories, including Deodorant, Skin Cleansing, Hair.
What You’ll Do
·Lead Dove Men+Careinnovation research and learning plans across categories (Deo, Skin Cleansing and Hair)
·Provoke business partners to identify and develop innovation ideas that truly bring value to people’s lives and drive incremental growth
·Explore and identify consumer insights from Problem Discovery, uncovering unmet needs, to in-market validation.
·Partner with local markets to gain learning and insights relative tocategory developments, insights and cultural trends
·Uncover learning to help the team understand unmet needs and pain points with important cohorts such as Poly Cultural men and men of various lifestages and lifestyles
·Become an expert on men’s grooming and wellness, trends, competitive activity and consumer needs.
What You Need To Succeed:
·3+ years’ experience agency and/or FMCG in the field of research and insights.
·Solid understanding of market research fundamentals.
·Proven record of analysing and synthesizing data and information from different sources. Comfort shuffling between granular details from research findings and how they relate to the big picture with opportunity spotting skills.
·Accountable for inspiring research partners to consistently deliver their best efforts: deliver actionable, clear, value-added understanding in a timely manner.
·Strong team player able to manage projects independently with remote line manager, comfortable working with a highly global engagement team.
·Strong business partnering skills, able to work with multiple business partners.
·Strong communication, story-telling and presenting skills.
·Consumer Love – a true curiosity around the consumer, putting the consumer and the consumers’ needs at the heart of what we do, being the advocate to the consumer by bringing their voice to the business.
·Deep interest in innovation, human behaviour, psychology, and neuroscience.
·An experimental nature, willing to try new things and seek new solutions, intellectually curious.
