The objective of this role is to achieve and sustain a critical mass of employees executing and living Agile mindsets, principles and practices so that we can achieve our growth ambitions and sustain an engaged workforce.

The Enterprise Agile coach has advanced understanding and hands-on experience with Agile mindsets, principles and practices and can apply them in a non-IT/software business (consumer products) environment. The coach operates as an internal Agile expert deployed to leadership and cross-functional teams to provide strategic direction and coaching on implementing Agile methods and tools to drive business value with tangible outcomes. The Agile coach works with team to implement efficiencies across business and operational practices to deliver Fuel for Growth.

Please note:this is a two-year contract, with opportunity for renewal.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose teams’ readiness in adapting Agile methodology & measuring Agile maturity.

  • Build and train a network of Agile Coaches across Organization who help deploy and coach Agile Mindset and practices.

  • Provide personalized coaching to teams looking to implement Agile mindsets, principles, and practices.

  • Help teams remove barriers and troubleshoot processes that block Agile principles.

  • Identify areas of the business that can benefit from Agile methodology and implementation.

  • Design and lead a change management strategy at an enterprise-level for Agile deployment that covers all functions and teams.

  • Build Agile capabilities in the organization and optimizing all blended learning tools including classroom training, coaching, and on-the-job experimentation.

  • In collaboration with Agile Coaches, help identify candidates to be trained on formal Agile roles such as Scrum Master, Initiative Owner, Team Member, Agile Leadership Principles and Practices.

  • Along with Agile Coaches, help senior leaders and teams prioritize business goals, OKR’s and operations.

  • Conduct team check-ins to ensure Agile implementation is sustained and functional.

  • Upskill and support the team by sharing external and internal best practices and knowledge about the Agile methodologies.

  • Act as the ‘link’ between Agile teams to share and optimize learnings and efficiencies

  • Facilitation of workshops related to Global, NA PMU and Local Agile, Agile transformation, leadership in an Agile environment, etc. for both employees and leadership teams.

  • Join weekly Agile stand-ups & participate in Agile initiatives (e.g. Agile Coffee Series, Recognition etc.)

Specific and Immediate Needs for Canada:

  • Train and build a network of Agile Coaches across organization to embed the Agile Mindset, principles and practices.

  • On-going coaching support for the CLT (Canada Leadership Team) & ECLT (Extended Canadian Leadership Team) on Agile deployment and mindset

  • Support with function/business specific initiatives around Being AGILE -  listening to pain points and on-going Agile coaching how Agile ways of working can address

  • On-going Agile coaching support of major transformation teams e.g. iOPS.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Scrum Master certification or equivalent Bachelor’s degree (Masters Preferred)

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Agile Methodology as a team member, scrum master, or initiative owner

  • A minimum of 3 years coaching senior leaders and teams on Agile mindsets, principles and practices

  • Robust experience partnering with senior stakeholders to drive culture and process change

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
