This could be capabilities enabling superior consumer engagement, customer excellence or for teams to collaborate more effectively.  

The role of Market IT is ultimately to understand the needs and priorities of the business and to deliver technology that drives growth and/or efficiency, whether this is within Customer development, Supply Chain or Marketing. 

It also focuses on building and fostering relationships within both Global and regional IT teams and the markets, making sure bringing the best outcome for both parties; ensuring good governance of IT investments, identifying, and managing the demand for IT resources and delivering innovative solutions that deliver growth and outstanding services. 

The role is set in an international environment and offers you a fun and varied work environment within a fast-moving industry. Hot topics like I&A, AI, Machine learning, and Automation are currently at the top of our IT strategy and agenda.  

Who are you?

You are a straightforward, positive person who is driven by IT related topics and enjoys working with different stakeholders at all levels. You may have worked as an IT Business Analyst or junior IT Project Manager at a consultancy company or similar as a previous role. You are confident and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Working independently and proactively comes naturally to you and you like to help the business better understand technologies and the value the IT will bring. You have a very high learning curiosity, have a passion for new technologies and would like to be part of Unilever’s digital journey where you will be part of a team who dare to challenge status quo! 

Main Accountabilities:

Business Partnering, Analysis and IT Planning

As a IT Deployment and Business Analyst you are the catalysator for IT innovation landing in our market. It requires you to work with both local business leadership and management as well as Global IT Innovation teams to understand and capture business requirements/demand for IT roadmaps and ensuring that business teams across Nordics have good visibility of upcoming Global programs that impact them. 

In global programmes you will act as Market Activation lead responsible for deploying programme Technologies in Unilever Nordics in close collaboration with business, local project Team and global project Teams and ensuring Business Cases and SLAs are met from a technical perspective. 

The IT deployment and business analyst role includes problem and issue solving together with global and local Teams and third-party. You will also be responsible for a local application portfolio which includes Service and vendor Management as well as contributing to Business case creation, budget, and RFP processes.

Criteria's to be successful in this role

  • Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)

  • You have a University IT degree (bachelor or similar) 

  • You have 2-3 years’ experience in similar role, with track record of collating and interpreting business requirements. 

  • Previous experience in IT System implementation. system integration and I&A Business intelligence projects; data mapping and Power BI 

  • Strong planning, business partnering, communication and presentation skills 

  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills 

  • Service management experience and Knowledge of ITIL processes required

Beneficial factors

  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies or Project Management degree (PMI)

  • FMCG experience, particularly Supply Chain and customer development process knowledge

  • AI, Machine learning and RPA & Automation Project experience

  • Previous experience in digital consumer/customer experience and e-commerce projects
