WorkLocation:  Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Job Type: Full Time

Travelrequired: Limited travel due to Covid-19 restrictions

About ekaterra

Unilever is proud of its tea business, the biggest in the world, with world class purpose driven brands such as Lipton, TAZO, PG tips and Pukka. Recently, Unilever decided to separate the Tea business to ensure it can best achieve its potential and renamed it to ekaterra to facilitate its separation to a standalone entity. eka stands for unity and one purpose while terra stands for earth and nature. As ekaterra we are united in one purpose: growing a world of wellbeing through the regenerative power of plants.

Unilever is reviewing several options for separation, including a demerger, an initial public offering, a disposal or through partnership models. Unilever will retain the tea businesses in India, Nepal and Indonesia, and the partnership interests in the ready-to-drink Tea joint ventures.

Present in more than 100 countries, ekaterra generated revenues of €2 billion in 2019. With 13 production factories in 4 continents and tea growing estates in 3 countries, ekaterra is a profitable and growing business offering a world of wellbeing with the regenerative power of plants to hundreds of millions of consumers. As a standalone entity, ekaterra is even better positioned to lead the industry with dedicated focus driving greater growth and value.

Combining the strength and scale of its global iconic brands with speed and agility, ekaterra is brewing a ‘corporate start-up’ mindset that’s opening up new opportunities to flourish every day – both for its business and its people.

At ekaterra, we work alongside people who put consumer love at the heart of every decision. Diverse minds who celebrate new ideas, share our values and the commitment we have for the wellbeing of all. In return, we create an environment that gives our people space and freedom, where they can grow as leaders. A connected community where ideas can thrive. Where you explore new challenges. Learning all you need to master your field, and even more about yourself.

Be part of this amazing blend. Join us, and help us grow a better world of wellbeing.

About TAZO’s purpose

TAZO was founded as a brand that challenges the status quo to better society. The way we see it, we have a moral responsibility that extends beyond our products. We have to be better to do better.

To start, we recognize that the climate crisis is one of the biggest challenges facing our world today. Not only does it threaten the health of our planet, but it’s also disproportionately harmed communities of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) for decades. It’s an environmental issue and a human rights issue all rolled up into one.

It’s time to take a stand. That’s why TAZO is joining the fight for climate justice and needs a diverse TEAm to center historically marginalized voices in our work.

Who you are:

Committed to changing the world

TAZO is committed to climate justice and you can help us reinvent our business model to ensure we delivering on our ambition to brew better for people and planet. You may know about Scope 3 emissions or the fight to stop the Line 3 pipeline, and why both matter right now in the world. You know that ESG isn’t a K-pop group, and you are experienced managing relationships with partners that range from climate experts to human rights activists. In your cover letter, be sure to tell us how you challenge the status quo for the greater good!

You thrive on deadlines and can provide examples of meeting complex challenges that required your strategic planning, your detailed execution, time management and teamwork.

You can roll with the punches, thrive on deadlines and have experience tackling complex challenges in fast paced environments which required your strategic planning, detailed execution, time management and teamwork.

Speaking of celebrities, you are ready to take on our roster of brand partners, working with our creative/ social agency to create content, managing the content approval process, social content calendars and overall organic social strategy. You recognize upcoming trends and are on the lookout for the next big thing.

How are your matchmaking skills? Are you the one your friends turn to for help finding the perfect date? We need you to scour the internet (with the assistance of our agency partner) for the right nano and micro influencers who love TAZO and mirror our brand values.
