This position is responsible for providing technical and operational support for the plant in Maintenance and TPM activities. As a member of the site leadership team this person will drive a strong and robust Manufacturing Excellence Program using TPM methodology. They person will develop, implement and analyze current results to improve factory efficiency and reliability, increasing asset utilization, reducing costs and guaranteeing Safety Health and Environmental standards. Through TPM they will develop a culture of loss control and prevention, aiming at continuous improvement. As a support function to production they will minimize line downtime, assist with process and operations, and improve overall equipment
Maintain and be responsible for PM systems, routine inspections, spare parts inventory control, maintenance scheduling, staff training, ammonia refrigeration system and identification of plant improvement plans including efficiency and yield.
Drive TPM forward for the entire plant and specifically the Planned Maintenance Pillar by using TPM methodologies.
Assist employees in sharpening and upgrading skills in the workplace and improving ability to investigate and eliminate losses in manufacturing.
Manage the maintenance budget while delivering asset improvements, higher asset productivity, and asset care.
Responsible for defining and monitoring Site Master Plan.
Close interaction with all department teams such as Manufacturing, SHE, Q, TIM, Logistics, and Finance.
Participate in Regional Virtual Site activities.
What You Need To Succeed:
6+ years (w/degree) manufacturing experience, preferably in food, pharmaceutical or beverage products.
Previous department or team leadership experience required.
Working experience with manufacturing or maintenance management, team development and project management is also required.
Deep understanding of manufacturing performance, maintenance and TPM is desirable.
Ammonia refrigeration experience is desired.
Strong Technical assessing skills of Manufacturing processes.
Strong computer skills.
Basic financial and cost analysis skills with strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation skills.
Good trainer and facilitator of work groups.
