Background & Purpose of the Job
As the US Personal Care Influencer Marketing Capability Associate, you will work with iconic brands to develop long term influencer strategies and establish best in class processes to upskill capabilities in this discipline.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
This role collaborates closely within the Personal Care Performance & Engagement and Digital Commerce marketing global and local teams to set up a strong connection between owned and paid media and content by engaging with and leveraging influencer activity across channels (e.g. paid media, shopper, ecommerce, etc.).
Set and develop local influencer strategies for the US Personal Care portfolio, to build expertise and capabilities in influencer marketing – both from an earned and paid approach.
Establish best in class process to drive influencer marketing within the portfolio, including what best in class creative looks like to drive story-telling with influencer partners.
Partner with and upskill brand teams to author detailed influencer briefs, syncing with other consumer comms and marketing channels to identify potential integrated opportunities.
Keep up to date with industry trends / competitor activity and act as a thought leader on social media trends and influencer news especially focused on Gen Z, Millennial, Latinx, AA and multicultural audiences and influencers. Be the expert to gauge trends and inspiration in a consistently changing landscape.
Set up a repeatable model to track, analyze and produce insightful reports surrounding influencer activity to advise on future optimizations of our strategy, KPIs and best practices. Benchmark performance internally and measure performance against competition over time.
Determine and recommend go forward resourcing and structure needed to support influencer marketing ambitions and goals.
Work on and execute influencer campaigns/projects as needed to demonstrate best in class capabilities.
Work in collaboration across Business Units in the US as a community of experts to build capability and drive efficiencies in this space.
Work closely with US PR contacts to share and embed best practices
What You'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree required
4+ years experience of influencer marketing or agency experience required; experience in the beauty industry preferred
Strong curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit; leadership and ability to work in a matrixed organization
