Key Accountabilities:

  • Bring Global and Regional Insights to Support Innovation Projects: Employ a sound understanding of the category, brands,competitive environment and technology and act as a core member of Project Teams, partnering with CMI, formulation, marketing, Supply Chain and Customer Development teams to identify insights that will drive new product & pack opportunities for new projects, based on analysis of trends, consumer needs, new technology impact on consumers, sensory data & strategic understanding projects.
  • Lead Cluster Owned Consumer Researches: Develop the research briefs for qualitative and quantitative consumer  research, aligning with key stakeholders in test design and action standards. Manage the research project execution, troubleshoot issues when necessary to deliver on time in full. Present data in an impactful way to key audiences, including a full detailed debrief to technical teams and higher level summary to key stakeholders.
  • Lead Product Superiority & Benchmarking Agenda: Lead product benchmarking agenda and quality analysis vs. competition for designing superior products and evaluation of their delivery via appraisal and/or consumer tests.
  • Claims Generation: Drive claims strategy through via claims workshops and claims support testing. Create claims to identify best ways to promote and enhance product superiority in line with brand. Lead the internal or external claim support work and the external endorsements in line with the product claims. Lead the whole Claims Forum process along the project.
  • Be the voice of Consumer & market: Drive and represent regional consumer understanding in R&D (both in regional and category teams) through sharing learnings and organising/engaging in consumer immersions
  • Knowledge Based Selling: Lead & Drive the knowledge based selling agenda to convert our magnificent product strengths & technologies into impactful demos & stories in order to convince shoppers to buy, customers to believe in & support and internal teams to know our products better and help driving sales via getting post activity measurements in different ways.  
  • Support Activities for Competitive Growth: Be ahead of competitor moves via tracking competitor launch/ relaunch/ activities closely, share them within wider team and generate discussion platforms for action planning. Support team with performance,  claims data and insights and enrich learnings with formulation / supply chain / 6P specific learnings.
  • Value Improvement Projects: Be an active member of Value Improvement Project discussions. Support the decision making with technical performance and consumer test data when needed. Propose alternative screening approaches to increase agility & speed of testing & research. Be an essential & effective part of 5S ideation sessions.
  • Digitalization: Drive the digital R&D agenda within HC and beyond. Be an active member and supporter of Global teams on building new models and executing them in the cluster. Use predictive models effectively,  help global team developing consumer test models and improve existing appraisal models.
  • Cleaner Future:  Define the cleaner future language for our products. Support trust & transparency agenda of HomeCare together with formulation, marketing and CMI teams. Bring and generate new PCR & Cleaner Future Formulation insights to support our innovations in the pipeline.
