Your Role & Key Responsibilities

As the IT Project Manager/Analyst, you will be for responsible for assessing and planning improvement projects, managing and delivering solutions, undertaking testing and implementing changes, and providing training to ensure benefits are realised. The Project Manager will proactively engage with the business and stakeholders to analyse existing procedures and identify opportunities for improvements.

Your Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • The role will gather and understand business requirements and ideas; consistently translate ideas and requirements into clearly articulated definitions for projects; and ensure that approved projects remain on track to meet our requirements, align with strategy and realise the expected value.

  • Hands on BA role, identifying areas for improvements in efficiencies, concisely documenting business requirements, scoping projects and critically analysing business processes.

  • Hands on project management role, planning and scheduling multiple projects.

  • Identify and manage the change management aspects of projects.

  • Liaise with stakeholders at all levels and technical experts to define business requirements and develop solutions that meet the needs of the sponsor.

  • Keeping track of external resources within your projects

  • Ensure that the project teams consider and prioritise the information security requirements of every project you run

  • Bridge the gap between the business and IT and carry out business reviews where necessary.

  • Define implementation roadmap for process and IT changes

  • Extensive experience in process re-engineering and/or Business analysis

  • Familiar with front office terms and concepts

  • Presentation of processes and business requirements to senior stakeholders

  • Critical thinking is key – after analysis; conclude and propose a strategy to reduce risk exposure.

  • Managing new project requests and facilitating the prioritisation of such requests, liaising with IT for estimates, tracking progress against the project plan, providing regular updates to all stakeholders, logging and managing project issues.

  • Business analysis – compiling and maintaining project documentation such as business specifications, test packs, and project plans, planning and coordinating UATs, obtaining necessary sign offs, and managing implementations.

  • Responsible for growing and nurturing talent including succession planning ensuring organization is fit to win short and long term

  • Key representative of Elida Beauty Limited within organization as well as externally across various key stakeholders and organizational bodies.

Key interfaces:

  • Role reports directly to the Digital and Customer Lead

  • Role will primarily be Vendor facing but will have engagement at relevant Functional levels in managing the IT Programmes

Requirements

  • A minimum 3 years' experience in a hybrid BA/PM role or similar within a CPG or FMCG company

  • Experience with both Business Analyst and Project Management - Tools, Methods and Techniques.

  • Preferably experience of both software and infrastructure-based projects

  • Experience using project tools (MS Project/Jira etc)

  • Articulate and good communicator with the ability to communicate technical issues in an easy-to-understand way.

  • Strong knowledge of project methodologies, principles, and frameworks.

  • Practical experience translating business strategy into technology roadmaps.

  • Strong understanding of the external technology market.

  • Results oriented with the ability to maintain focus on objectives in a multi-task demanding environment.

  • Good problem solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a part of the team.
