Brand Lead Coordinator (Deos & Rexona)

What are we looking for:

As a Lead Brand Coordinator you´ll lead create the brand´s in local stream for the upcoming years, prepare and submits activity plans on brand level. Work on on-going market and brand understanding at consumer and shopper level (brand measures, competition monitoring, media, and consumer/shopper behaviors)

You´ll own and drive the preparation and execution of full package to consumer/shopper for national promotions, launches, relaunches, activations you will design and execute the right strategy connecting our customers. You’ll lead and drive the preparation for key marketing and business processes for the category.

Location:  Bosques, Mexico city

General objectives

  • Develop the strategy and vision of Rexona & Deos category with key actions to execute them and achieve our ambition
  • Partner with cross functional teams, to build a strategy that includes creative solutions, channel strategies, planning route to market and develop a complete communication & marketing plan including local production of campaigns.
  • Develop and land projects in short-time frames with a mindset of creating strong future growth plans.
  • Conduct brand/category and team stewardship through cross-functional leadership and creativity.

Key responsibilities

  • Active Role and Lead key processes in the category (GCLT, IBP, QCR, S&OP)
  • Create and enforce category strategy.
  • On-going market and brand understanding at consumer and shopper level (brand measures, competition monitoring, media, and consumer/shopper behaviors)
  • On Going market performance understanding at brand-applicator level to spot issues and/or opportunities (market share, applicators, channel perspective, distribution, price index, promotions, etc)
  • Responsible of developing strategies and deployment of brand innovation funnel.
  • Owns and drives preparation and execution of full package to consumer/shopper for national promotions, launches, relaunches, activations
  • Executes Brand Communication/Activation 360 degree.
  • Keep consistency of brand communication across all communication channels and consumer and shopper touch points.
  • Coordinate and lead tracking of your brand and the full category P&L against business objectives.
  • Budget Owner (BMI forecast & tracking)
  • Lead special projects for the category (example: GM% Improvement, NRM, etc.).

Background and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field require.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Marketing
  • Innovation and communication development experience (develop business cases, market deployment, campaign development, etc.).
  • P&L management
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Highly Analytical and data driven
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams while working with and influencing stakeholders.
  • Advanced project-management and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with demanding project schedules.
  • An independent worker/self-starter, striving to go the extra mile to deliver excellent performance.
  • Display excellent influencing, communication skills towards stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • A proactive, collaborative, resourceful and “can do” attitude.
  • A high attention to detail, process-oriented, and a motivated self-starter.
