The role is based in the centre of Kingston, where you have a wide selection of shops, cafés and restaurants at your fingertips. The office is home to a restaurant, a fruit and ice-cream bar, and a subsidised shop offering a selection of our Unilever products.
For Unilever to remain competitive in the future, the business needs to continue the path to become data intelligent. The Data & Insights team will persevere to make Unilever Data Intelligent; powering key decisions with data, insights, advanced analytics and AI.

This Data & Analytics function endeavours to create clear accountability for all aspects of Data Strategy, Data Management, Information Management, Analytics, and Insights. We would be accountable for impact of solutions, maintaining market relevance and minimising unnecessary overlaps in analytics products, ensuring simplicity and that our solutions better meet the needs of our users.
We would partner with the Digital and Data Legal Counsel to ensure that our Data Defence (Privacy, Governance, Quality, etc) is well structured and sufficiently robust to use data and AI correctly throughout the enterprise. We would democratize information across the business, while supporting the culture shift required for data driven decision making. Further, this team would drive capacity unlock from manual and duplicative reporting capabilities, while also refocusing a portion of the unlock on embedding predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities into our highest potential opportunities.

The CD products team is an engagement team partnering the Customer Development function, delivering and rolling out analytical products to meet the growing need of the function to become ever more data-led.
As part of the Integrated Operations (iOPs) programme, one of the key strategic business transformation initiative for Unilever, the CD product team delivers a number of solutions, one of which is Livewire CD, which aims to be a one-stop-shop for all performance management needs for CD personnel. As a key part of iOPS, it supports the Run organisation to make managing the business delivery more efficient whilst bringing all required information in a single place with easy to interpret insights. At the same time, Livewire CD also needs to support the overall growth agenda of CD and is integrating additional scope such as supporting some aspects of the NRM (Net Revenue Management) process.
The D&A Livewire CD Lead Product owner defines and develops the solution scope, coverage and functionality and ensures the product has a clear functional fit to the evolving needs of CD. He/She ensures the product roadmap targets maximum value delivery and is positioned as a critical asset for the in-market CD teams. They lead the squad from high level proposal through to delivery. The Product Owner owns project budgets, timelines and designs and is the accountable person within the squad to the business. Product Owners retain ownership of their products once they are live, and act as a key conduit between the business teams & DevOps teams for ensuring products are appropriately supported and further developed where necessary.
Lead the development of business requirements; cost estimates; and benefits identification to feed into the business case for the new products Lead the squad – guiding them and taking accountability for their performance in the eyes of the business Assist the business in change impact assessments and liaise with the D&A Market Teams & Change leads on the ground to support the delivery of change management Align the product functional & implementation roadmap within the iOPs transformation programme and manages dependencies Oversee product functional/ non-functional design and ensure Capability Teams’ members of the squad develop solutions which meet the business requirements Develop; own; and manage all project budgets & timelines Work with the Data lake & Solution Factories to ensure project deliverables are appropriately costed & scheduled in-line with project expectations Work with the D&A Market Deployment mgrs. to test and land solutions & functionality Own products developed in BAU and work with the D&A Market teams/ Solution Factory to ensure DevOps requests are appropriately managed, budgeted and delivered
