Building Next-Generation Founders with a Global Career

We are looking to nurture the next generation of leaders for Unilever International (UI), our White Space Arm that establishes global business in key channels. You’ll get the opportunity to accelerate your career to the leadership team at UI headquarters here in Singapore, leading strategy and marketing thinking to spearhead brand launches to niche markets.

The two-year programme will include global rotations across multiple functions, with the opportunity of offboarding to one of the seven key UI hubs overseas upon graduation.

Global Career with Unilever International

Unilever International (UI) is Unilever’s White Space Arm. As the ninth global cluster, we work across the world to fill white spaces for Unilever.

We treat the business as our own. As intrapreneurs, we introduce Unilever’s brands into white space geographies such as (but not limited to) Korea, Pacific Islands and Mongolia, and spearhead launches of iconic household brands (e.g. Dove, Lifebuoy, Sunlight, Fair & Lovely and TRESemmé) into big markets - U.S., China and Western Europe.

As Unilever’s growth engine, we establish global white space businesses in key channels, such as Health & Beauty, Discounters, E-Commerce and alternate channels such as travel retail. We also market to institutional partners notably, United Nations, and we’re seeding Unilever brands to overseas diaspora who crave for a taste of their familiar home brands.

To serve the underserved, we embrace a founder’s mentality, explore unchartered territories, and redesign end-to-end business models to establish successful businesses. Singapore is our hub, leading strategy marketing thinking, seeding plans, and alignment with the global categories and supply chain. Our other hubs are in North America, LATAM, Europe (UK and France), NAMETRUB (Dubai), South Asia and North Asia. About Marketing in UI

We build categories and iconic brands (e.g. St Ives and Simple) globally across markets, media and channels, by enhancing brand awareness through creative and effective digital mediums in uncharted territories.

You’ll leverage on digital and shopper marketing to build brands rapidly, partner with global and regional Business Development teams to analyse the market and lead cross-functional UI teams to land new product innovations within various markets with speed and impact. As a Unilever Future Ready, be ready to drive overall Marketing strategy for your designated projects.

Robust 18 - 24-months development programme (4 to 5 rotations)

1 Supply Chain or Finance rotation to build business acumen

1 international assignment – if travelling is permitted

Customer Development & Marketing rotations curated towards your business expertise & experience

Networking opportunities & mentorship opportunities with senior leaders

Quarterly performance review with Leadership Team to ensure high performance & delivery

Potential landing into senior management role* upon successful programme completion

*Roles upon completion of the program could be based outside of Singapore  

Checklist for a successful application

I have 2 to 5 years of formal working experience​

I want a global career

I am ready to be fully mobile as a talent, and willing to move and work in any of UI's key hubs

I am able to be based in Singapore for the next 2 years​
