Unilever Food Solutions’ (UFS) Purpose is ‘To free up Chefs to love what they do’. Based on this mission, UFS offers culinary convenience products and solutions to professional Chefs. We serve Independent and Chain Operators in the Institutional Segment (Health, Canteens, Schools & Governmental) as well as in the Commercial Segment (Hotels, Restaurants, Snack bars, Butcher/Traiteurs).
Our team of 53 employees realizes a Turnover of € 66.7 million within the Belgian and Luxembourg ‘Away From Home’ market via a broad network of B2B Wholesalers. We hold leading positions in most of the markets in which we are active: Bouillons, Soups, Sauces, Binders, Tea,… Our branded product portfolio offers various degrees of convenience level, ranging from basic products to ready-to-use products, which helps Chefs to combine efficiency whilst continuing expressing his Chefmanship and creativity in the dishes.
UFS is accelerating its digital transformation to fuel growth through data driven and technology enabled Go-to-Market (GtM) capabilities. The focus of UFS marketing and sales is to engage with chefs & customers through an integrated communication system via visits by sales representatives and digital touchpoints like the UFS.com website / webshop, segmented & personalized campaigns and UFS apps.

Main purpose of the job:
As a Culinary Advisor, you will be responsible to deliver culinary support to the UFS Customer Development and Marketing Team.
You will be responsible for the Home Meal Replacement (HRM), meaning butchers and catering, and the health and cantines channels. You will be the culinary image for UFS (internally and externally) for the HMR and the health and cantines channels by meeting the high standards of the UFS Chefmanship
As a Culinary Advisor, you will be responsible for building the Chef connections and gaining influence power to inspire and support Chefs to use our solutions via Digital & face to face engagements and thereby drive growth.
You will be responsible to:
Deliver online and offline demos/culinary support to deliver Reach & Penetration for business growth with Trends to Solutions Selling approach this for our operators and wholesalers.
Supporting our channel communication by Creating and delivering winning Chef to Chef killer recipes/solutions to solve problems operators are facing
Responsible for Producing/(digital) content/killer recipes according to the marketing calendar and strategies
Develop content and conduct both physical and virtual culinary training for sales aligned with the identified business strategies (innovations, focus skus, trends and market needs)
Being an influencer in Chef community on social media by building a network/organize content and activities that would help grow external network
As a culinary advisor you are responsible to give Culinary support for innovations/ benchmarks/product development for one or multiple product categories
Collaborate with marketing and digital to identify, develop and validate new business opportunities that arise from emerging operator needs, kitchen trends, FS market developments, and new technologies.
You are the Culinary face for UFS for the Health and cantines/HMR channels this both internally and externally
Responsible for the photography of killer recipes with an external photographer.
Who are you?
You have a proven track-record as chef and operator, in a health/canteen environment
You are in possession of a professional degree from a culinary school
Excellent culinary skills/passion for food
Strong affiliation with the foodservice market
You are bilingual (Dutch/French) and you have a good knowledge of English
You have excellent communication skills and are able to easily contact other Chefs to build a network with them
Kitchen management skills
Content Curation (Trend & need based), and creation skills
You can deliver face-to-face and online trainings/demos
You are at ease with social media (Facebook, Instagram), Adobe Assets, streaming tools and photography and video editing tools
You have a passion for growth
You can work independently
Experience in food photography is an asset
