Main purpose of the internship

When joining Unilever in Belgium, you will get the opportunity to have an impact on a leading-edge company and our outstanding brands. During this internship you will get real responsibilities that will provide you with a good insight into the organisation and support your personal development.

Within our e-commerce team, you will have the chance to emerge yourself in the online FMCG world and help develop our digital-commerce strategy and portfolio. You will have the opportunity to make your ideas come true and work on dynamic and innovative projects in a booming segment that is always changing and where you will learn from the best of the best. 

Your key responsibilities and accountabilities could be (amongst others):

  • You are our champion dataflow: you ensure that all process data and product information is always up to date.

  • You monitor and regularly update the visual databases of our top 3 retailers, whilst being in contact with them and our external 3rd party. 

  • You manage online activations for our customers through the coordination of internal and external stakeholders (marketing teams, agencies, account managers, etc.).

  • You contribute to the management of our virtual ice cream stores by being their point of contact and increasing their sales.

  • You analyse the sales results and their key drivers.

  • You make sure, in close collaboration with the marketing teams, that product information is up-to-date in order to go live in an organized and timely manner.

What we ask: 

You must be enrolled as a Bachelor or Master student from aUniversity, Business School or equivalent during the entire internship. 

  • You are available for a minimum of 3 months and ideally for 6 months (at least 32 hours a week). 

  • You are fluent in English + Dutch or French.

  • You have a strong affinity with ecommerce

  • You are a team player with a strong sense of responsibility. 

  • You are a self-starter, able to work autonomously.

  • You pay attention to details and strive for excellence.

  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and feel comfortable with data analysis.

  • You are able to work with a diversity of people and teams.

  • You are familiar with MS office tools and in particular Excel and Powerpoint.
