MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
Meat to please you! At the Vegetarian Butcher we’re looking for new ‘meat on the block’ to join us in the biggest food revolution of all times.
The plant-based market is growing rapidly! Consumers are increasingly looking for plant based meat products while stepping away from normal meat products. Driven by this trend Unilever acquired The Vegetarian Butcher (TVB) end 2018. With this move Unilever expanded its portfolio with sustainable plant-based foods that are healthier and have less impact on the environment! The range of high-quality meat replacement products are the pride of The Vegetarian Butcher. The products are created “for meat lovers” and cannot be distinguished from real meat in terms of taste, texture and smell!
The recently announced Future Foods; Increase annual sales of plant-based meat and dairy alternatives to €1 billion over the next five to seven years will further energize The Vegetarian Butcher to realize its ambition and become the biggest butcher in the world!
In this journey, we are looking for an entrepreneurial leader in Operations who has the passion to change the world!
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Project manage the roll-out of partnerships towards perfect delivery & successful launches in the Asia Pacific Region.
Be the Sales Operations representative to receive the implementation and approval requirements of large customer partners.
Drive costing setup - collect and align inputs.
Initiate, develop & manage (international) customer relationships in Asia.
Lead glocal connections to assure on time, in full launches per market.
Coordinate E2E deal-making process managing key project stakeholders to assure a smart and resilient operational set-up (internal & external).
Deliver presentations, pitch decks for key customer interactions.
Troubleshooting when issues occur.
KEY EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in delivering innovation and/or portfolio renovation projects E2E inhouse and with external partners
Financials Acumen including network design and costing setup
Experience with different business models.
Proven experience in delivering business needs through others
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Minimum relevant professional experience in customer management of 3 years is required.
Commercial mindset and are strong in customer management.
Project management skills in a high pace environment.
Good negotiator: able to influence, also in informal decision structures.
Analytical & structured thinker.
A person that easily connects.
Good communication skills (written & verbal) and fluency in English.
You have an entrepreneurial “can do” mindset to deliver high growth in a fast-paced environment.
You’re not afraid to be hands-on in difficult tasks.
You can keep focus, are able to make choices whilst keeping your stakeholders informed.
In essence you’re humble yet rebellious, entrepreneurial, energetic and fun!.
