Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job:

Unilever Thai Trading – Finance team is recruiting Finance Business Partner Manager – CD GT&IC to lead dynamic team of 3. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to Head of Customer Development Finance Thailand and partner to Thailand and MYSG Head of Customer Development.

Finance Business Partnering at Unilever is a highly dynamic and exciting role which fit with candidate who has entrepreneur mindset. The role typically includes partner with customer business development team in defining the right strategies, managing business cases to support business scenarios and provide insightful analysis to make the right decision.  This role will be business partners to deliver consistent, competitive, profitable, and responsible growth both short term and long run. 

This is a role with interaction with various stakeholders across Unilever Thai Trading and global team. Provides an excellent learning ground for the individual to strive and succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Partner to Customer Business Development General Trade and Ice-cream team

  • Lead business meetings, provide financial advice and viewpoints to drive Business cases, strategic growth and decision making.

  • Lead financial performance planning and review by customer view. This includes analysis of actual results, financial forecast, market offtake view, Stock cover day and budget controls.

  • Support company projects as required.

Skills and experiences

  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree, in related field (e.g. Business/Finance/Economics/Accounting/etc.)

  • Minimum 7-8 years’ experience in FMCG industry

  • Strong understanding of local customer landscape, shopper market insights

  • Analytical skills and deep understanding of relevant Research tools

  • Strategy development

  • High level of problem-solving ability

  • Change management and strong project management skills

  • Strong financial and business acumen

  • Building and managing Teams, ideally cross-country & virtual teams

  • Fluent in English language

  • Ability to comprehend in Thai language is mandatory as this role requires frequent engagement with internal/external local stakeholders

The candidate should have the maturity and deftness to understand nuances in different inter relationships and find the way to get the job done, holding people accountable where necessary.
