The role of HR Business Partner supports the delivery of the People Agenda for the specified function, working closely and supporting the overall agenda with the wider HRBP team. The incumbent will also need to work directly with Function Business Leaders, advising on all HR issues and ensuring the effective execution of change. He / she will look at the 4 pillars of executing a successful people agenda: Organization, Skills, Talent, Culture. In addition, he/she will use knowledge and management of HR Information Systems to provide insight and ensure data reliability.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Support the implementation of HR strategy with the business by ensuring that the HR delivery is fully aligned to business goals in their area of business. Supports the development and implementation of HR solutions by understanding how the organisation works

  • Support managers and teams in business delivery through enhancing their capability to deliver strategy into action components, manage their people, implement change and build relations with key stakeholders (internal & external)

  • Utilizes and integrate the People development process and tools to provide and develop the diverse talent pipeline for the short, medium and long terms needs of the company. Supports Unilever talent processes by educating and managers to generate objective and fair decisions

  • Collaborate with the business for the creation a high performance culture by supporting the implementation of team and organisation design solutions

  • Bring HR insight (including Employee and Industrial Relation) to establish a highly engaged working environment

  • Understand and drives the digital upskilling, design capability development programs considering digital available tools. Guides and supports managers in the fundamentals of learning needs and skill gap analyses and provides guidance on the range of learning interventions available

  • Supports managers and the HRBP team in all Organisational Effectiveness & Analytic activity

  • Advises on Reward & Performance Management tools. Works closely with managers to ensure they understand how performance management tools combine to enhance performance, and attract, engage and retain employees

  • Interfaces with HR service provider to ensure delivery of core HR services to the business. Monitors quality and timeliness of service provision

  • Supports the HRBP team or Expertise teams in preparing & providing accurate information, collating & analysing data and producing clear, insightful and meaningful reports.

  • Where responsible for Site HR, will be required to manage budgets and absence cost control and reduction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/master’s Degree in arts, Social Science, Political Science, Law, Business Administration or related field

  • Good knowledge and working experience in key HR processes, roles and responsibilities across the entire HR lifecycle

  • Relevant experience in IR/ER system and process in a complex environment

  • Understanding of labour legislation

  • Thorough understanding of management trade unions, key legal, compliance, safety and other regulatory issues involve in key HR processes.

  • Proven to be a self-starter in previous jobs

  • Good command of English
