YourRole & Key Responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to develop and execute with our customers the customer strategy and customer business plan. To drive the growth and profitability agenda within Elida Beauty.
Key responsibilities include the following:
Manage andDevelopthe relationship withBoots across key categories(hair,deos& bathing)
Be the internal expert on the customer; develop, implement and optimize the customerstrategy
Negotiation of JBPs, trade terms, pricing and funding.
Manage the customer P&L for the respectivecategories
Work in close collaboration withinternal teams to ensure plans are aligned to drive the best activations possible across all retailer touchpoints.
Keep the consumer at the heart of the plan by working collaboratively with our category teams.
Your Key Tasks:
Develop & maintain strong relationships withBoots, extending network outside of the buying teams as appropriate.
Develop & lead your Customer Business Plan implementation. Reviewing and adapting the plan throughout the year tomaximizeresults.
Drive annualJBPnegotiations and promotional plans with your customers.
Land key strategic initiatives including store trials with Boots across hair/deos/bathing.
Ensure effective use of trade spend with your customersby evaluating promotional and merchandising activity.
Land range review opportunities and listings of innovations.Ensure retailer deadlines are met.
Effectively manage retailer online channels to accelerate growth.
Manage and negotiate pricing withBoots
Lead key competitor analysisand reporting.
Manage and Develop the Sales Executive within the Health & Beauty team.
Promotional analysis to determine the success of prior promotions, using these learnings to influencefuture plans.
Input into the S&OP process including forecasting.
Work closely with Customer Service to improveperformance
Reporting on EPOS sales dataon a regular basis, supplementing with any additional insights data where relevant.
Monitor Customer Performance by tracking customer contribution and market share for major categories
Act as active ambassador of Unilever at the customer and of the customer at Unilever

Head of Customer Development
Customer & Category Development Manager
Trade Category Management
Customer Marketing managers
Supply chain team.
Marketing/communication agencies (if applicable)
Skills and Experience
Degreelevel education, preferably inbusiness/sales and marketing.
At least 3years of working experience in Salesor Managing customers (retail or supplier side)
Proven track record ofmanaging & delivering against sales & margintargets
Ability to demonstrate people led & purposefulleadership
Excellent relationship buildingexpertise
Business development/sales management experience
Negotiation experience(including JBPs)
A passion for the Beauty & Personal Care World
Nice to have:
E commerce/Digital experience
CCD / Shopper Marketing Experience
Experience in Beauty & Personal Care Industry / working with Beauty and Personal Care brands
Professional Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
Functional and technical knowledge
Sales: Strong communication and negotiation skills
P&L – financial acumen
Synthesis of data and insight
Intermediate ability with MSexcel
Language Requirements: English

E-Comm sales – listing and driving online sales through e-com partners EG:Amazon
Additional languages are aplus
