Team HR IT supports the global convergence agenda, delivering efficiencies & complexity reduction, continuously improving the available process & technology solutions and ensuring internal and external benchmarking. They are the functional experts who will deliver integrated process & technology design, satisfying business needs, and ensuring compliance with the overarching process and service strategy.

Job Summary:

  • Partnering with the T&O team and drive the Performance agenda through Workday
  • Manage the DevOps environment for Talent and Compensation modules in Workday
  • Managing the Change and Release for Talent and Compensation modules in Workday
  • Managing the stakeholders
  • Managing the relationship with multi-vendors and holding them accountable for the delivery
  • Managing the governance and compliance with respect to Performance & Talent and Compensation
  • Demonstrate impact through clearly measurable KPIs
  • Develop personal mastery in the processes handled and grow as a SME over time

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver harmonisation, operational effectiveness and measurable improvement through the design and delivery of process and system solutions that generate value for HR function.
  • Analyse business processes and systems, and identify business factors influencing the development of new or alternative business processes & systems
  • Overall accountable for the delivery of the CI(Continuous Improvement) projects on time and budget within relevant portfolio.
  • Design effective end-to-end process solutions to deliver the Function’s business strategy and policy
  • Manage and participate in process improvement projects, ensuring the smooth integration of new business processes and tools with organisational structure and culture.
  • Assess the implications of new processes on both people and organisation and identify the activities necessary to ensure a smooth transition to new processes & tools.
  • Support the definition of operational acceptance criteria for new and changed processes and tools and support Service Operations in judging if operational acceptance criteria have been met 
  • Manage the implementation of new or amended services, processes, procedures, tools and techniques
  • Determine, develop and monitor monthly performance measures specific to the live service
  • Monitor and ensure process compliance - work with stakeholders within Unilever and Service Providers and the wider business to ensure the service is working as desired
  • Capture, build and share internal and external best practices
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of emerging process and technology trends and developments in areas of interest to the organisation
  • Support training and testing where appropriate and educate extended user base on solutions as required
  • Create and maintain process knowledge to be made available professionally through UniOps organisation to the business
  • Ensure robust controls are in place for security and access to systems and enabling technologies
  • Assisting the IT Leads in reviewing the existing Change and Release strategies for HR IT Expertise team and keep updating the strategy to suit onboarding new technologies be contact point for any major releases happening with in Talent space.

Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications:

Professional Qualifications

  • Educated to graduate level or equivalent
  • PMP is desirable
  • Fully Operational in WD Performance & Talent and Compensation module



  • Experience Business Partnering with a Business Function
  • Operational experience managing a fairly large multi-vendor team
  • Portfolio management or account management experience
  • Broad experience of delivering IT projects and services in a multinational Regional and Global context
  • Appreciation of the processes and challenges facing the HR function
  • Workday Product knowledge


  • Experience of managing large external service providers delivering projects and support
  • HR Functional Experience
  • Basic Financial knowledge
  • Process design and modelling

  • A strong and self-confident influencing style, being able to make an immediate impact with suppliers and customers.
  • Ability to inspire confidence in delivery, a strong service focus (project and operations).
  • Strong business awareness, understanding the broader context in which IT delivery has an impact on overall business performance.
  • Good Team Player managing fairly large team across different geographies.
  • Good understanding of the role of IT in a modern business, and organizational trends in the market effective its evolution
