Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job

As a Brand Manger you will play a key role in building successful brands being responsible for crafting the brands plan as well as engaging with cross functional teams in order to drive change, execution and speed into action.  You are expected to have the right mix of analytical and creative skills along with the desire to challenge the status quo, delivering on growth mindset for our brands, backed up by consumer and market research evidence. You need to have business acumen and strong financial knowledge in order to build profitable business whilst having the consumer ar the heart of everything you do. You will work closely with Media, CMI, Sales and Supply Chain departments as well as guiding countries in USCE in delivering profitable growth. Having more than 50% of the portfolio represented by local brands, you are in close contact with R&D, factories and finance when you plan for local innovations. You will create from scratch products, having the oportunity to brief, test, change recipes, check capacities, asses the financial impact, being involved from the beginning until the end with a brand development approach. You will be the point of contact for creative agencies, which you need to inspire them to come with best suitable brand activations for our brands. Project based, you will be involved in EE projects, where you will bring your local expertise and help grow new brands in new markets.

You will be guided in your journey by your Line Manager, who will help you develop and enrich your marketing and business knowledge.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Brand strategy, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term

  • Plans, implements and evaluates the marketing brand plans for the brands she/he owns. Creates, executes, and manages marketing programs and campaigns

  • Responsible for the P&L of the brands, measuring constantly financial KPIs like TO, GM, BMI, PBO.

  • Manages the Advertising and Consumer Promo budget, being accountable for expenses booking according to plan.

  • Constant competitor and customer insights analysis translated in concrete actions that needs to be put in place. Stay current on market trends and competitive activity

  • For the global brands, alignment with global or regional team regarding plans and priorities. Adapts media campaigns/assets to local markets, adding the local touch whilst respecting the global brands’ guidelines.

  • For the local brands, responsible for product development, pricing and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities

  • Defines and manages the brand communication strategy using a variety of media. Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media

  • Strong connection with agencies in order to lead creative development and transform plans/ideas into reality.

  • Analysis of sales forecasts and relevant financials and reporting on product sales. Coordinates postevaluations of the marketing activities.

  • Engages, inspires and drives action in cross-functional teams. Leads USCE countries for the brands she/he owns and shares knowledge and expertise with EE countries.

Requirements

  • University degree

  • At least 3 years of relevant Marketing background. Customer marketing or Sales experience is a plus.

  • MS Office skills

  • Fluency in both Romanian and English

  • Ability to pay attention to details and to transform data into action

  • Solution oriented

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind

  • Excellent communication skills
