Background & Purpose of the Job

Business Intelligence Specialist plays a key role in Customer Development department - ensures consistent development and drives business analysis decks from a market perspective (both internal and external), constantly updating the data from category, channel and customer perspective. Has the holistic shopper understanding of the category / channel / customer which serves as the cornerstone of both the long-term strategy and the yearly country plans.

In this role, you will:

  • perform the business analysis decks and business insights, ensuring consistency with category / channel / customer strategy

  • constantly act as CD data driven reporting & analytic champion, while also working on the digital development tool project automatization

  • coordinate & monitor executional performance including Perfect Store project, market dynamics and trends, being the main touchpoint for the monitoring agencies

Job Requirements:

  • University degree

  • Experience in business intelligence / finance / reporting / market research/ client service 

  • 1-2 years of experience is required

  • Deep understanding and usage of Power BI digital tools is an advantage

  • Proven affinity and experience in project management

  • Excellent MS Office skills are required: Word, PowerPoint and exceptional Excel abilities  

  • Fluency both in Romanian and English

  • Skill in completing multiple tasks and business requirements in parallel

  • Business mind-set and thorough knowledge of consumer / shopper needs

  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills

  • Ability to present written information in a structured and balanced way appropriate to the needs of the reader together with business key insights / message

  • Substantial organizational and ability to pay attention to details. Ability to transform data into action.

  • Very strong analytical skills (mixing business reporting with market data analysis)

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the execution of the category / channel / customer business performance reports ensuring consistency with the plan

  • Ensure reliable development of business analysis decks from a market perspective (internal & external), category, channel and customer perspective, constantly updating the data (e.g. APR decks, APR CCBT S&OP dashboard, etc.)

  • Have the holistic shopper understanding of the category / channel / customer which serves as the cornerstone of both the long-term strategy and the yearly country plans

  • Supporting the achievement of the business targets in SCE countries while performing operative reports and strategic tasks in collaboration with partner departments (e.g. Business Highlights overview, Value&Volume evolution, Semafor volumes reports., SOL reports, M/Q/H PIS, CAGR analysis, etc.)

  • Contribute to the development of long-term digital development tool project automatization strategy and its yearly needed revisions (e.g. Power BI)

  • Building and nurturing good, challenging and constructive relationship with Finance, Field, CCD, Acc Management, Supply Chain,

  • Cooperate with all involved departments for CotC tracker preparation (e.g. 1/H). Provide assumptions for long-term performance and ensure a harmonized and cost-effective CotC portfolio update in SCE (e.g. on-top/not on-top innovations / NPD and sku’s performance)

  • Ensure yearly launch portfolio update availability (e.g. Argumentar: new portfolio, brand logos, etc.)

  • Development and/or adaptation of global tools / new asset / reports creation locally

  • Continuously monitoring PS project performance, initiate discussions and analysis with relevant departments to improve performance - represents real ownership (e.g. including manage & upgrading project digital platform)

  • Coordinate the local monitoring agencies which provides external business data (e.g. RDM, Hypercom, etc.)

  • Management of PS budgets within agreed targets. Tracking execution of the budget and monitor results

  • Run all the necessary administrative tasks for the categories (internal orders, etc.)
