As People Partner Lead of South Central Europe (SCE) business, you’ll play a key role in designing and leading the people agenda in partnership with Head of HR and our Board of Directors. The role is fully a mix of strategic responsibility, for long term health of business, and tactical responsibility, for proactively managing employee experiences.
Purpose of the role is to deliver a great employee and line manager experience by being the primary contact for a dedicated group of Line Managers and Employees. You are end-to-end responsible to deliver a great employee experience for key employee moments in SCE. You are the partner to the employees and line managers to guide and support them on all HR activities such as on-boarding, (international) moves, pay, leave of absence, illness cases, performance questions etc. You have good expertise and knowledge of (HR) policies, labour law and processes and therefore you provide proactive advice on all day to day HR activities, leveraging a network of experts behind the scenes to provide the right solution.
You also have a leadership role by being the Lead People Partner both for SCE with other People Partners reporting to you. You are responsible for maximising the synergies of HR people experiences in the countries, entities and locations.
Collaborating with Head of HR to design and lead implementation of programs and projects that either (1) better enable the business to win, (2) better support employees, or (3) enhance collaboration within our HR team
Enabling line managers to be great leaders everyday by partnering them and providing to them excellent guidance by being an expert HR partner who can build deep relationships;
Proactively engages with the business about Key Employee Moments
Acting as first “human” single point of contact for any employee query, developing close relationship with employees and Line Managers
Finding the right approach for every question using our policies, available expertise, knowledge of laws and systems, social skills as well as your common sense
Be available for ad-hoc requests but also able to address issues early on
Ensuring that employee policies, practices, and programs are consistently applied across the business
Collaborating actively with HR Lead to drive implementation of fit for purpose HR initiatives
Being involved in organizing and implementing workshops, organizational changes, diversity & inclusion initiatives, health, wellbeing & development activities for employees, enabling them to thrive
Coordinating with our HR Operations team to make sure we responsibly manage our employee data and execute standard processes flawlessly, using available technologies
You’re a coach: You’ll be able to coach, counsel, and guide employees from their onboarding, through their career development, through the exit process.
You’re a changemaker: You’ll track trends in employee and line manger needs to provide insights and support to upskill the business.
You’re a paradox navigator: You’ll recognize the importance of balancing business wants and needs with company policies, procedures, and legal compliance codes.
You’re a culture & change champion: You will be the face of HR, supporting the business through the change from HR perspective.

Experience 3+ years in HR ideally from FMCG but not a must
Proven capabilities in HR processes: Employee Experience, Building Organisational Capabilities, HR Business Partnership, Change Management, Onboarding, Talent Development (identify, retain, develop), Succession planning
Business orientation: we need you to understand the business in its competitive environment and to generate insights about the business unit’s capabilities, organisational effectiveness and culture whilst identifying change opportunities what will differentiate our business
Fluency in both Romanian and English as you will communicate in English on daily basis
Communication (excellent verbal and written communication skills are required), exceptional listening ability
Organizational skills, ability to pay attention to details and to transform data into action
Growth mindset, problem solving attitude, with strong analytical skills and ability to manage many diverse projects simultaneously
