Main Role:

Own and continuously improve the end-to-end financial forecasting process (including S&OP, GMVA) from a Finance perspective. Represent Finance in any process improvement initiatives across the financial forecasting process. Provide support to FET Lead in providing challenge to S&OP process driving high quality plan and leading to a minimum bias. Drive towards alignment between volume and value.

Main accountabilities:

Business partnering and insight

  • Provide support to FET Lead to understand/analyse HUAD (Hungary and Adria: Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia) P&L FC in details
  • Lead financial/process aspects of the S&OP

Process ownership and delivery

  • Lead engagement with EE Finance team on financial forecast submissions
  • Prepare the total MCO forecast & individual category forecasts (cash up) on monthly basis in Global Cash-up tool
  • Prepare supporting analysis/summary reports for CCBT meetings
  • Provide support to see and analyse proper full P&L
  • Support GMVA analyses by using UEBV standard reports
  • Analyse UEBV MCO variances
  • Act as the Finance champion of forecast bias and accuracy
  • Build and actively use a network of finance peers across Unilever EE to both share and adopt good practices on Planning & Forecasting

Required skills and experience:

  • Min 1 year Finance experience
  • MS Office – especially Excel – advanced knowledge
  • Fluent in both Hungarian and English
  • Strong process & analytic skills
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
  • Pro-active & assertive approach
  • Ability to work fluidly with data and across systems that support the S&OP process (e.g. SAP, cash up tool)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other key stakeholders
  • Growth mindset
