Main purpose of the job:

Planning and execution, coordination and evaluation of trade marketing activities and projects (incl. innovation, portfolio, activation, promotion, in-store communication, budgeting, category management) with full accountability for the category activation plan.

Also be the single point of contact in Customer Marketing for Xmas packs for BB, KAM teams. Responsible for Xmas coordination among Customer Development. 

Shopper and Customer Marketing Manager role description

Key operational responsibilities:

  • Create and manage the rolling activity plan including promotions and continuously monitor the performance for the given category/channel with the full budget ownership
  • Manage perfect execution of the activity plan by continuously keeping contact with the key account management team focusing on the promotion management and promo evaluations.
  • Manage promo plan according to promo guidelines, monitoring flyer numbers, flyer shares, and promotional prices.
  • Based on analysis of activities (market performance, ROI etc), propose promo guideline or activity plan changes, create gap closing activities
  • Manage mid-term rolling forecast
  • Create and track trade plan of launches and re-launches through the key account team (incl. managing run-out, trade selling stories)
  • Responsible for excellent in store shopper activation and communication, drive shopper insights into action
  • Create annual Customer Marketing plan including trade event plan, channel/shopper job to be dones, budget need, promo guide, shopper activation plan
  • Create Category Growth Strategy towards trade partners based on annual activity plan

Category management (CatMan) responsibilities: 

  • Manage CatMan and range & shelf review projects with given category  
  • Monitor and exploit opportunities in taking part/leading projects with the Customer.  
  • Prepare analysis for market/shopper trends, assortment, visibility/shelf layout, promo efficiency and provide proposals 
  • Support Key Account team with assortment recommendation in case of new product launches 
  • Support both Key Account and Customer Marketing teams with up to date market information on the category mid and longterm key trends/performance/competitors/shopper behaviour 


Gifting Specialist role description: 

Key operational responsibilities on Xmas Trade Planning: 

  • Develop portfolio mix and execution plan by channel (inc. selling stories). Category champions consolidate execution plans for the country. 
  • Input into business cases (volumes) 
  • Develop POP materials for launches based on key visuals 
  • Give input to BB on channel / customer specific sku/range requests 
  • Define channel relevant portfolio (SKUs, priorities, distribution targets) 
  • Ensures smooth execution of xmas portfolio in channel and run out of old stock and obsoletes (monitoring, KA support, etc...), analyse and develop recommendations for next year 

Requirements:

  • College / University degree
  • Job experience: 1-2 years working experience in Customer/Trade/Retail Marketing field in FMCG
  • Proven affinity and experience in project management
  • Growth mindset
  • Be a good team player demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the organization and team members
  • Creative problem solver attitude
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to present written information in a structured and balanced way appropriate to the needs of the reader
  • Skill in completing multiple tasks and projects in parallel
  • Substantial organizational and analytical skills, ability to pay attention to details
  • Experience in Modern Health & Beauty customers (e.g. Dm, Rossmann) is an advantage
  • Experience in Beauty & Personal Care Category is an advantage
  • Language: native Hungarian & professional, fluent English knowledge.
  • Excellent IT skills are required, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
