Laboratory Chemist (Licensed) - Fixed Term Contract

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Overall in-charge of the site central laboratory, and satellite laboratories
• Implements Good Laboratory Practices in all laboratories
• Ensures quality of material through the Inbound Sampling Plan
• Provides technical support on quality programs related to testing and measurement
• Ensures on-time release of disposition of material delivery
• Maintains calibration of all laboratory equipment
• Ensures availability of lab consumables and leads projects to optimize cost
• Builds proficiency in testing across all laboratories through internal ring test
• Provides technical inputs on investigations and improvement projects
• Provides technical and quality support to EMs, MPTs where material testing is needed
• Develops Quality personnel in achieving level of required skills and knowledge as appropriate to support site quality program
• Links up with external laboratories and institutes

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a Licensed Chemist
• Strong factory background
• Proven leadership skills
• Assertive and able to engage with shop floor
• Logical, analytical and creative
