ABOUT MARKETING IN UI…
The Hair Care UI business is a €100Mn business and aiming to further doubling it in the next 4 years, which will be achieved through growing the future core UI skincare brands (e.g. Tresemme, Dove, Sunsilk, Clear), driving innovations in future forward segments and new horizon whitespace categories adjacent to Haircare. The Global Assistant Category Manager, Hair Care (UI) will play a key role in achieving this ambition and continue the growth momentum. This role has a great deal of autonomy and will play a strategic role in opening new white space markets for Unilever across Africa, Latam, South Asia, ANZ and leading key innovations initiatives.
You will be closely working with Category/Brand Development teams, craft out category opportunities and optimize existing mixes for launch markets. You will be leveraging digital and shopper marketing to build brands rapidly and lead the cross functional UI teams to land innovations in market fast with impact.
Driving Marketing Strategy
Driving and supporting strategy and marketing activities for Global Hair Care Category, including planning marketing activity calendar
Working closely with functional teams to ensure On-Time-In-Full delivery of all key strategic projects across brands.
Identifying and Capitalizing on White Spaces
Evaluating, analyzing, and mapping white space opportunities for Global Hair Care Category to recommend strategic brand launches.
Launching key niche brands across identified white space markets.
Crafting Brand & Marketing Campaigns
Creating appealing product selling stories and online marketing content, especially for ecommerce
Crafting Communication and Market Development Campaigns to roll out to markets globally.
Ensuring product artwork development aligns with brand identity and branding guidelines.
Supporting Business Development teams with sales supporting materials (e.g. product information sheets, selling decks, etc.)
Fostering strong relationships with wider UI Marketing team to share best practices and learnings.

3 – 5 years of marketing experience in B2C business
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Be a strategic, highly adaptable, and entrepreneurial person.
Have strong track record of consistency in market delivery.
Have strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills with key stakeholders.
Have experience working and leading in cross-functional teams, and great project management.
Experience working in cross-functional teams within a matrix environment both F2F and virtually.
Embrace a high growth mindset, with strong love for consumers, shoppers, and customers.
