You will be responsible to lead and develop fully integrated customer and channel brand/category solutions for customers/channels based on insight at a national level being responsible for all categories and all brands.
How would you create a better world?
Build the annual channel marketing strategy for assigned customers
Conduct customer audits to set up the structure for the following year’s investment utilization by evaluating market dynamics, customer’s internal/external factors and Unilever customer development strategy.
Design annual marketing activity plans so that the investment is effectively utilized on the sweet spot in which Unilever, customer & shoppers’ objectives are achieved.
Prepare the Customer Business Plan by aligning shopper/channel marketing strategic pillars to Customers’ Joint Thrusts & provide them to Food Solutions account team to prepare joint business plans.
Hold responsibility of providing channel marketing inputs to the portfolio S&OP Process
Manage portfolio S&OP process by providing inputs on volume plans, highlighting customer-based assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
Develop and implement customized shopper & channel marketing solutions for each customer based on their characteristics.
Being the Food Solutions custodian for the company innovation process
Cohesively decide on the channel launch plan by evaluating the trade strategy.
Provide inputs and validate the launch marketing plans, and if any post launch plans.
Aligning the launch plan with the customer strategy.
Hold the responsibility of driving channel marketing promotion strategy
Derive the jobs to be done for the respective chains based on USL strategic pillars and the customer’s joint marketing thrusts.
Design and provide shopper/channel marketing strategy based on jobs to be done to customers’ joint business plans.
Doing reviews & manage the achievement of marketing strategy.
Manage chain specific trade investments
Ensure efficient and effective use of trade budgets to deliver targets.
Develop and manage the trade promotion investment strategy and align trade investments with other business resources.
Understand and select the right promotional tactics to optimize sell-out.
Develop customer centric investment plans and budgets against clear objectives.
Execute plans on time, monitor and evaluate performance to define actionable learning’s on how to improve promotional effectiveness within Unilever versus the competition.
Monitor and consider return on investment (ROI) and any other evaluations of activities & provide feedbacks on the achievement.
Effectively manage investments to be manage based on priorities to driving business growth and other priorities.
Lead the portfolio management strategy by considering maxing the mix, driving future core and cost to the company.
100% ownership of A&P and TTS budgets and optimum utilization of budgets.
Shopper/Retail Understanding
Study retail trends through retails audits to identify issues and opportunities.
Conduct shopper studies to get a better understanding of the shopper and plan activities accordingly.
Take the leadership in sharing the findings with customers and internal stakeholders.
