Who You Are and What You'll Do

The role of the Finance Director is to drive the business performance and financial results for the Food & Refreshments Division and will lead a team of teams. This will include providing Finance Business Partnering leadership to commercially shape the medium to long term direction of the division. This role will manage and lead dynamic resource allocation to meet Category growth priorities. The Finance Director will develop business cases and benefit realization for project investments, as well as strategically influence senior stakeholders across categories.

Operational Delivery

  • Partner the EVP Foods and Refreshment, North America on the business priorities and plan delivery

  • Partner with the respective category Directors in business modelling, P&L forecasts and competitor benchmarking

  • Drive E2E reviews focused primary on value to be created (both in disruption and performance management matters), but also on value to be protected

  • Identify opportunities while mitigating risks

Transformation and Innovation

  • Experiment with Business Model development and deployment to drive portfolio transformations

  • Manage large value impact agenda and drive specific performance agenda

Cross Category

  • Lead various cross-category projects across Foods and Refreshments, or across other Big Cs (Home Care / Beauty and Personal Care) aimed at stepping up finance capabilities, such as Sustainability Finance, Digital ROMI, etc.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 10+ years of Finance Business Partnering and exposure to Category / Customer Development environment

  • Proven track record in managing large and complex set of stakeholders in driving Business performance improvements (e.g. closing P&L gaps vs. target)

  • Interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building

  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands

  • Grounded in understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of stakeholder trust and confidence

  • Experience in leading multifunctional teams

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
