Background & Purpose of the Job

The Logistics Lead is responsible for coordinating all the key functions involved in the Deployment Planning Process and is responsible for ensuring that the inventory is being strategically allocated in accordance with the tier structure. The Logistics Lead will also be responsible for the maintenance of the product allocation table related to stock allocation. This individual will act as the first line supervision for executing the DRP process, resolution of stock issues, and the maintenance of invalid shipments and receipts. Individual will be the focal point to all other functional areas within Logistics and SC Planning including Warehousing, Transportation, Customer Support, Manufacturing, Capabilities and Logistics Finance. This individual will also manage batch job analysis and support holiday scheduling. Additional responsibilities include developing and distributing analysis and KPIs across the organization and providing training to the analysts. The Logistics Lead will have direct responsibilities of developing and coaching 5-8 direct salary reports.

The Logistics Lead should be able to perform an analysis identifying the main issues and determine actions to take to minimize their respective impact.

This Logistics Lead is expected to ask a lot of “how” and “why” and never be happy with the status quo.

You’re a culture & change champion:This Logistics Lead will manage a very diverse group of people and will interact with several different Customer Service teams and customers themselves therefore it is expected that this Logistics Lead is very capable of navigating through different team and customer cultures along with their respective expectations.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years of experience in planning or related experience with a clear competence in Deployment Planning, SC Planning, and/or Customer Service. Strong understanding of CCD, Transportation and Warehousing.Extremely proficient in Excel along with strong communication, supervisory and interpersonal skills                        SAP experience is preferred
