Job Title: AMLogistics
Location: HO, Karachi


Main Job Purpose:
Manages day to day warehousing, inbound, outbound and secondary transportation and re-packing operations in the warehouse. Responsible for the efficient and accurate handling and delivery of customer orders on-time and in-full. She has to ensure the delivery of high CCFOT at optimal costs and ensure quality, environment safety and health standards are met as per the Unilever guidelines.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage the entire warehouse team of 2000+ individuals to deliver day to day operations and achieve high levels of Customer services at optimal costs

  • Ensure distribution of products on time and in full within the required conditions.

  • Key Deliverables are Ontime, DR %, Cost of Warehouse, TRFR, Network optimization, Stock Accuracy

  • Determine optimum Logistics Network to deliver N+1 days to customers

  • Ensure all 3PL operations are within the agreed SHEQ and safety guidelines

  • Manage all government / local relations regarding the transport operations

  • Manage vendor negotiations along with procurement and maintain supplier relationship

  • Responsible to create Cost forecast along with Finance business partner to depict warehouse cost and build robust saving projects

  • Managing the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods from the warehouse

  • Maximizing space usage within the warehouse

  • Performance management and Reward and Recognition of all personnel in warehouses

  • Govern 3PL performance on Quality and Safety audits and conduct regular business review meetings.

  • Facilitating effective communication within the team and across the site.


Professional Skills:

ESSENTIAL

  • Engineering degree /MBA/ Supply chain (APICS etc) qualification advantage

PREFERRED (MBA along with Engineering Degree will be preferred)

  • Master of Business Administration; Logistics Degree


Experience Required:

ESSENTIAL

  • 3-5 Years in Supply Chain operations

  • Experience in managing 3PLs

  • Planning experience

  • Exposure to Order to Cash, Procure to pay cycle

  • Budgeting & Planning

PREFERRED

  • FMCG experience
