Job Purpose
Customer Operations is a Supply Chain function comprising of Logistics, Customer Service & Planning.
Role entails Finance Business Partnering European Customer Operations team on Logistics & Overheads matters. The role will head Customer Ops Finance Hub located in Katowice, Poland that supports all pan-European Finance activities across Transport, Warehousing & Overheads. The role presents a huge opportunity to unlock value for Unilever by ensuring robust Financial framework and unlocking optimisation opportunities to drive Savings & Service improvement.
Hub Head will manage multi-layered team of ultimately 10-15 Managers & Analyst and report into the European Customer Operations Finance Director.
Main Responsibilities
Finance Business Partnering + Financial Planning & Analytics:
Prepare Logistics Cost Forecast for Transport & Warehousing
Lead month end close activities ensuring accuracy & robustness of reporting
Analyse Actuals vs. Forecast variances and prepare summary of root causes for management
Together with Logistics Operations team drive Savings & Optimisation initiatives
Participate in preparation of Annual Plan & Budget for Logistics
Act as Budget Controller & Finance Business Partner for Functional Overheads
Drive process standardization, optimization & digitalization for Finance processes
Talent & Teams:
Build a winning team of Finance Business Partners
Drive effective team collaboration and look for synergies
Demonstrate passion for growth, excellence, capability building and agility in a highly VUCA business environment
Share knowledge and strive for building a winning finance team
Act as knowledgeable, purposeful & motivated manager to diverse team of 10-15 members
All about YOU:
7 or more years of Finance experience incl. line management experience of 7-10 people
Former Supply Chain Finance experience at global or regional level is a must
Evidence of strong people & team management abilities
Experience & passion for process optimisation and digitalisation
Structured and well-organised mindset
Passion about high performance and working in a diverse team
Ability to quickly navigate between detailed and helicopter views
Ability to work under time pressure and ability to dynamically prioritise the workload
Ability to understand complex dependencies and drive simplification
Strong networking skills and ability to build connections with teams spread across the region
Dynamic, Flexible and Positive mindset is a must
Fluent level in spoken & written English
