Main job purpose

The logistic finance analyst supports the FET make and delivery finance manager by preparing relevant reports, templates and ad hoc analysis. He/she contributes to the effectiveness of the financial planning cycles and of the governance process for investments. In this context, he plays a pivot role among Logistic Business partners, Supply chain finance services and the UEVB finance excellence team.

What you can expect from the role?

  • Supports the team in the design and implementation of EU logistics FET processes.

  • Reviews the financials results and extrapolates insights for the Logistics LT.

  • Plays an instrumental role in the monthly forecasting and in the annual BP process. 

  • Supports the design of the information strategy and the flawless reporting execution.

  • Tracks investments in make & delivery.

  • Be involved on ad hoc finance logistic projects

  • In collaboration with the Supply Chain Finance Services team, Ensures a smooth and efficient run of month end cycles.

  • Supports the deliver finance director, the finance logistic network lead and the make & delivery finance manager for any ad hoc projects and analysis. 

  • Manages submissions to global teams.

  • Plays the coach role for UFLP members rotating in the team every 6/8 months.

  • Business acumen – rapidly absorbs new information; applies new techniques, technology and procedures;

  • IT & communication skills – excellent level of computer literacy (incl excel & SAP); good communication and presentation skills;

  • Analytical thinking, problem solving attitude – ability to combine multiple and different data point to draw conclusions; apply systematic approach to identify and eliminate root causes; identify problem solution;

  • Motivation and drive – ambitious to hit personal target and standard; act to remove basic blocks to progress without waiting for other to do so;

  • Team working – demonstrate commitment to the team in helping to achieve goals; proactively share best practice, ideas and insights with colleagues.

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in finance roles preferably in Supply Chain environment.
