Scope:

Project Management Office (PMO) Managers oversee business projects and ensure that are completed on time and within budget. They also ensure all team members uphold the company's standards throughout each project's development and execution.

The responsibilities of the PMO Manager include managing the day-to-day activities in the PMO, providing guidance on PMO policies and processes, overseeing project management staff, and collaborating with other department leaders to develop projects and programs.

To be successful as a PMO Manager, you should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. Ultimately, a top-notch PMO Manager should be well organized and able to work under pressure.

What you can expect from the role?

  • Collaborating with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.

  • Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.

  • Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.

  • Providing financial reports and budget outlines to Executives.

  • Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.

  • Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.

  • Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.

  • Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.

  • Owns execution of the change management progress

  • Build strong partnership with market operations leaders, logistics procurement and operational teams to identify impact of the business and new initiatives to successfully integrate and deploy them into daily operations

  • Active leadership governance

  • Team Leadership & Mentoring – to develop, coach, mentor and leverage skills and expertise of both internal and external resources in order to create a responsive and flexible logistics network across Europe

Does this sound like you?

  •  Bachelor or Master’s degree in logistics / industrial engineering / supply chain management is preferred

  •  5+ years of experience in project/program management within supply chain / logistics is required.

  • Good understanding of end to end supply chain management and previous experience in logistics, operations or supply-demand planning and leading transformation in related work area is considered an advantage

  • Excellent communication skills,

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style,

  • Senior Stakeholders management skills,

  • Customer service orientation,

  • Bias for action (focus on results and use of intelligent risk taking),

  • Growth Mindset (placing a fresh emphasis on innovation and having the ambition to grow),

  • Pro-active approach to problem solving in short term and ability to implement long term preventive activities,

  • Strong analytical skills including analysis of complex data,

  • Accountability and responsibility (personally driving change and using operational discipline),

  • Change Management skills,

  • Ability to set priorities and to work effectively under pressure of time and results,

  • Ability to influence others,

  • Ability to manage teams effectively, build and support talents,

  • Fluent in English.

Travel: Yes, 20-30% of the time
