Purpose of Job:
The objective of this role is to co-ordinate procurement activities in a cluster covering warehousing, repacking and secondary transport portfolios. To lead regional projects & tenders, lead cross-regional supplier agenda in warehousing, repacking and secondary transportation agenda. The role will involve complex research, analysis and interpretation, including ability to make recommendation for business decisions or making decisions in their specific area of work.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THE ROLE?
Responsible for a number of suppliers relationships from cluster under guidance of the manager
Responsible for implementation and execution of Procurement Strategy
Deliver Procurement compliance & digital agenda
Lead procurement contracting process & contract management for assigned portfolios
Create & maintaining a centralized portfolio knowledge database
Lead regional tender initiative for the cluster
Lead cross regional project/ activity as assigned by manager
Lead transport and warehousing, repacking cost optimization projects (efficiencies, benchmarking)
Lead sustainability initiatives & projects (alternate fuel, energy efficiency operations)
Supplier collaboration towards improvement of 3 C’s
Supplier Business Allocation (proposal & support procurement manager in big spend negotiations)
Regional portfolio lead in terms of: responsible sourcing and quality, performance management and continuous improvement, resilience, segmentation, contractual model, 3PL’s negotiations and strategy
Responsible for a number of suppliers relationships from cluster under guidance of the manager

Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in spoken and written English and France
Operational computer skills (MS Office)

SAP (advantage)
Tendering platforms knowledge
Previous experience in Purchasing or Transport, Logistic
Experience:
Bachelor degree as a minimum
Previous experience in Purchasing or Transport, Logistic - 3 years minimum
