Main Job Purpose:
Transportation is a key Supply Chain process and comprises critical steps of O2C, M2D and P2P processes such as shipments planning & execution and freight settlement, primarily over SAP and OTM systems.
In that space , the logistics system supervisoris responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of transport operations byleading a technical support team which is responsible for end-to-end support in the domain of transportation IT.
This role would focus on partnering with key stakeholders in Europe transport operations e.g., Ultralogistik, GeoIT, Logistics Development Team etc. on an ongoing basis to ensure system resilience and smooth functioning of BAU.
Being DevOps in nature, the role also requires an end-to-end delivery of small sized projects in transportation area with efficient stakeholder management and collaboration with multiple teams.
What you can expect from the role?
Manage & ensure resource with right skill set is working to deliver the task
Support the BAU issues and co-ordinate with the Support team and Business stakeholders to ensure the right response & resolution is provided for the issues.
Support the Application Landscape team for the functional area and to manage tasks like user management etc.
Identifying the focus and attention areas by analyzing incident trends
Governance with support partner on ticket management
Proactive monitoring , analysis, and improvements for system performance
Tracking of CSU (spend on incidents) consumption and reviewing the support effort
Coordinate and support product partners in managing upgrades & patches
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders like Process excellence team, Geo IT, SMEs from other application like SAP, DellBoomi & Mulesoft, Landscape, Change & RM team and with strategic suppliers and 3rd party IT service providers
Work with key stakeholders to build and maintain a strong governance process for BAU to ensure better management of day-to-day operations
Help co-ordinate and manage business IT projects(small scale) in the ERP including minor enhancements for area of responsibility in an effective and efficient manner, delivering the best possible business value
Understand and interpret IT strategic architecture, ensure all fixes/projects/enhancements follow the principles, guidelines and standards set out by the CTO Organization

University Graduate (min. Bachelor)
Basic knowledge of project lifecycle and exposure to project management
Functional knowledge of supply chain operations
Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders to deliver strategic projects
Excellent problem-solving skills to analyse business problems and design best solutions
Working knowledge of OTM and SAP
English fluency
Expert in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel)
Knowledge of Oracle Transport Management System
Ability to lead team and people management skills
