PROCUREMENT OPERATIONS ASSISTANT CM B&W
MAIN JOB PURPOSE
Provide support to the Procurement Operations manager and Team. Take responsibility for European operational activities to ensure a smooth supply of materials into our B&W collaborative manufacturers. In the current challenging times, the Procurement Operations teams in Europe is playing a crucial role in continuation of the business. The role should ideally be located in Katowice, optional in Bydgoszcz (close to our B&W manufacturing site).
European B&W Operational
The majority of your time you will spend on troubleshooting in all different aspects of our European Operations. You support our Beauty and Wellbeing Collaborative Manufacturers (CMs)in case of material supply issues and any other material related issues that might appear.You coordinate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders and make sure all know what to do in order to solve the issue. In addition you work proactively on service- and quality improvement projects with our main suppliers and the Collaborative Manufacturer.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support the procurement organization to meet goals and objectives in support to the overall Unilever strategy.
Build a solid network within the company and with the main material suppliers and CMs.
Collaborate with procurement manager on troubleshooting in all different aspects of our European Operations.
Think innovatively to turn issues/crises into opportunities for supply chain improvement, i.e. long term problem solving.
Able to quickly build knowledge on various buying portfolios to take decisions on how to solve problems. Take that extra step to safeguard Unilever’s production.
Contribute to short and long term service and quality improvement projects together with suppliers.
Support contingency and resilience activities; identify and follow up on opportunities to add flexibility to the supply chain.
To ensure the satisfaction of Unilever's internal customers with the services provided by the procurement organization
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Essential
3-5 years in FMCG
English language skills
Managing stakeholders
Effective trouble shooter –able to remain calm in times of crisis
Self-starter with strong accountability & responsibility standards
Preferred
SAP experience
Project management skills
Experience in procurement and/or planning
International experience: study/work abroad
