The modern Katowice Hub office, whose interiors were designed according to the principles of sustainable development, is located in the city centre of Katowice, Poland.
We are working in the hybrid way to use the time spent in the office to influence collaboration and straighten the team spirit, using special designed for this purpose office areas.
The Procurement Strategy & Insights Team is serving as the nerve center of the Unilever global procurement organization, enabling the procurement organization to design and deliver step-change across value chains, operating processes and tools, and business models. With vision of Translating Knowledge & Data into Future Fit Procurement Strategy & Insights, this team is responsible for: Sensing, incubating, and enabling innovative ideas, new business models, and transformation procurement strategy & insights.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Support Delivering the procurement IC BG & IC Portfolio’s strategy while integrating with Business, Po1 & portfolios teams
Uses the S&I tools effectively to drive value in negotiations
Analyses data to seek trends, patterns, anomalies, and findings that drive useful business insights
With a continuous improvement mindset, leverage the existing tools and responsible for the iteration plan
Closely connected with the Markets and Industry boards, acquiring the relevant intelligence to identify opportunities and creates roadmaps based on promising opportunities
Lead the Insights creation from available data, based on a good understanding of the data architecture and guiding the mining process
Executes detailed Value Chain and market analysis to define opportunities to intervene/intermediate at different levels, taking into account all the different materials and services we source
Support & Drive competition and market benchmarking for critical cells for Ice cream
Drive/co-drive key big bet projects from idea to execution, through all phases for different LHS pillar projects
Drive portfolio analytics to land opportunities for complexity reduction and simplification across different portfolio’s
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
Preferred over 5 to 7 years’ experience in a Procurement or Supply Chain roles either in Unilever / FMCG industry or in a large complex organisation with strong portfolio and market expertise
Digital Savvy, experience working with PowerApps, PowerBi & MS SQL
Change management experience of large scale / global transformation programs is preferred
Has a good understanding of Agile principles, values, methodologies and practices that enable agility and approaches delivery with an iterative and incremental (test - do – learn) approach
Experience of working in cross-functional teams within a matrix environment – both F2F and virtually
Consulting experience or startup would be a plus
Strong business and commercial acumen
Ability and drive to work independently and lead diverse cross function teams, across different geographies
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and peers effectively
Excellent critical thinking, analytical and story-telling skills in order to respond to multiple market/portfolio specific characteristics and influence change remotely
