Purpose of Job:

You are responsible for delivering all Supply Chain capabilities needed for successful busines expansion in E-commerce and Gifting in the Region, usually organized as new Channel, new Product launch projects. As the first point of SC contact, you will be the SC business partner for Global and Regional business owners and teams.

Accountability (Deliverable Outputs):

Project Management:

  • Drive all aspects of Supply Chain on behalf of the e-Commerce team, ensuring OTIF delivery.

  • SC leader for project governance, including input into e-Commerce program gate keeping.

  • Supports category organization in Make or Buy studies for local country initiatives, including participation in the scoping and selection of new 3rd Party Manufacturers (3PM).

  • Supports the project management for various brands focusing on whitespace expansion.

  • Stakeholder and customer relationship management.


Portfolio Management:

  • Drive capability development (build 3PM network), ensuring an optimum operating and cost- effective model.

  • Design best practice governance framework for the e-Commerce business with global focus.

  • Actively manage the current portfolio in close collaboration with the Beverage portfolio team.

  • Develop and manage capability-based performance reviews for new suppliers.

Operational Management:

  • Ensure all e-commerce 3 PM briefs are compliant with the defined governance processes.

  • Establish the supply chain management of e-commerce for the tea business.

  • Liaise with SC planning teams and create Rough Cut Capacity Plans for e-commerce.

  • Create and follow-up project timelines – including critical milestones like source and supply of raw materials, code creation, product costings, co-ordination of product artwork, etc.

  • Manage communications with all relevant stakeholders during the entire process.

  • Oversee obsoletes risk management, consolidating demand and communicating supply schedules to country business teams.

  • Raise Purchase Orders and manage issues related to invoices.

Quality Management:

  • Verify and monitor quality systems in operation at 3PM’s.

  • Drive CAPA activities – Corrective actions / Preventive actions on behalf of the e-commerce team.

  • Ensure compliance and safe manufacturing design is adhered to and managed through project facing Technical Risk Assessments.


Capability Development:

  • Lead on-boarding of new co-packers (managing all SC tasks).

  • Work closely with category SC and R&D to develop new processes that are fit for purpose.

  • 3PMs: Co-packers/Re-packers/e-com partners

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to connect with business partners both external and internal.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Operational computer skills (MS Office).

  • Financial awareness / cost understanding.

  • SAP experience.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree as a minimum.

  • Proven track record in Customer Service, Supply Planning or Quality role in an FMCG business or similar industry.

  • Project Management experience.

  • Specific experience in delivering e-commerce executions into market (nice to have).
