About the Role:

Managing end-to-end Account Receivable (AR) operations by working closely with business channels and the Order To Cash (OTC) team with the roles of responsibility of proactively managing and minimization of the debtors.

Team Structure:

  • Reporting to: Finance Account Receivable Lead

  • Direct reports: 1

  • Indirect reports: Offshore team management (3rd party shared service provider)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and control of the debtor’s ledgers by ensuring the company’s exposure to non-recoverable debts to the minimum.

  • Support invoice accuracy by collaborating with Order to Cash stream on EDI, SAP system and related Order to Cash system interface troubleshooting whenever the need arises.

  • Facilitating with the Customer Business Development team and liaising with bankers on the customer financing enrolments and approval process, performing periodic credit evaluation to ensure minimal interruptions to the operations.

  • Organise records of credit limit, billing and submission to bank on collection on a daily basis for distributors’ business.

  • Establish good relationships with key stakeholders. Serve as the liaison to the Customer Business Development, and Supply Chain team to coordinate disputes and reconciliation of invoices for timely collections.

  • Facilitate receivable ageing report review and monitor cash collection for month-end closing.

  • Maintain and review customer credit limits.

  • Ensure Compliance with accounting principles and control framework.

  • Support audits in a timely manner and ensures to provide of reliable and accurate information to internal/external auditors.

  • Perform other ad hoc assignments and tasks when requested by management.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Finance or Accountancy.

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of related experience in finance operations in FMCG.

  • Strong knowledge of finance operation, finance/business acumen in bank finance program, and analytical skills.

  • Strong knowledge in SAP Financial consolidation/finance information management, Excel and PowerBI.

  • Have strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills with diverse, multi-functional stakeholders.

  • An independent individual with team player spirit, hands-on and ability to work under pressure.
