The Purpose of Role:

Ecommerce are a clear growth driver for Unilever
The consumer packed industry (CPG) is facing an enormous digital growth opportunity. The prominence shift from brick & mortar and related shelf-space towards ecommerce and related new business models, is developing rapidly. Today consumers are highly accessible towards information sharing via digital platforms and tools which changes how consumers behave. In parallel to these changes is the rapid advancement of digital capabilities. This is an exciting disruption and eCommerce is now the utmost priority of the business. Unilever’s expectation and ambition to “WIN” in this channel has never been so clear.
Team Structure:
Reporting to: Head of eCommerce
Key Responsibilities:
Strong focus on developing and identifying new eCom channel/businesses – Quick Commerce (Food Panda, Grab, AirAsia etc) and Social Commerce
Identify business model and drive business growth, while keeping track of P&L performance
Create thematic/promotional campaigns that’s relevant to platform in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Build and maintain a lasting relationship with eCom customer and their operational teams
Evaluate, track, and report the success of projects/campaigns implemented on the platform
Support other eCom team members on company-wide initiatives on new e-Commerce trends
Key Stakeholders:
Internal: Brand team, Media team, Channel & Category team, Finance, Supply Chain
External: Platform Retailer and Distributors
Travel:
30% of the time for travelling - meeting retailer, customers or distributors (any parties that are relevant in the digital commerce stakeholders)
Essential Experience/Skill/Knowledge:
A self-starter. Strong passion to drive business development and great interest in experimenting and exploring new solution/digital ideas & project
Strong commercial acumen & project management skill
Demonstrable track record of delivering growth & success in eCom platform
Passionate for eCom and constantly updated with the latest trends and new eCom business models
Working experiences with FMCG/eCom related industry
Good understanding of the large-scale e-Commerce platform operations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Experience/Skill/Knowledge:
Business development experience with a sound understanding of logistics operations.
Working experience in Quick Commerce is a plus point
