Collaborative Manufacturing Operations Lead

The Purpose of Role:

  • Leading the Collaborative Manufacturing (CM) Cell for SEAA Foods and Refreshment (F&R) Division.

  • Driving cost, savings and efficiency initiatives, improvement program for the F&R Supply Chain as a business partner to the Product Supply Head – F&R.

  • Ensuring CM Innovation program delivery, initiatives, scoping for future business growth opportunities in support of Product Supply Head – F&R.

  • First point of Contact for F&R Collaborative Manufacturers for operations, delivery, and capacity utilization.

  • Driving CM segmentation program mitigating risk and utilization across quality, spend, volume and turnover.

  • Leading the people/planet and sustainability programs for CM partners in SEAA for the F&R division.

Team Structure:

  • Reporting to: Product Supply Head

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing CM capabilities and network strategy to drive growth for the F&R division.

  • Network strategy alignment with CM Procurement, R&D, Quality, Management Services Organization (MSO) Planning and Safety.

  • Leading the operational onboarding and reallocation program.

  • Lead CM roadmap to optimize CM network managing product transfer and back up.

  • Representing Supply Chain in the individual Trio Teams for F&R Division.

  • Collaborating with other divisional CM cell leads and Supply Chain leads to leverage best practices.

  • Scoping for new technologies and future innovation capabilities in alignment with category and market/Country Category Business Teams (CCBT) and MSO input.

  • Landing innovation projects On-Time-In-Full of CM.

  • Network Management of technical projects with CMs.

  • Support and govern a continuous improvement program within the divisional CM network to drive growth and cost improvements.

  • Identifies, lead and report on the saving projects from CM.

  • Drives Safety, Health & Environment and Quality assessments, intensive care, and non-conformance monitoring.

  • Governance, reporting and improvements of global and regional KPIs.

  • Driving the agility and segmentation program for the CM network.

  • Portfolio & Innovations Managers & teams

  • CM and Regional Procurement

  • Quality Managers and teams

  • Logistics

  • Category R&D leaders and teams

  • Supply Chain Finance

  • CCBT leaders and local MSO Planning teams

External:

  • CM Factory teams include Site Director, Manufacturing, Quality and Maintenance Managers, Quality Analysts

  • Material Suppliers

  • Collaborative platform and service providers

Travel:

25-50% of the time for traveling.

The Qualities We Look for In You

  • Broad-based Manufacturing and Supply Chain experience.

  • Professional experience in relationship building with cross-functional internal teams and external parties.

  • End-to-end mindset and very good communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Proven and recognized achievements in project management on technical and innovation projects.

Essential Experience/Skill/Knowledge:

  • The candidate is expected to have relevant qualifications in Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent industrial experience.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years professional experience in the Supply Chain/Procurement environment.

  • Production and finance broad knowledge.

  • Professional experience with external manufacturers and suppliers.

  • Project Management and analytical skills.

  • Professional financial/costing skills.

Desirable Experience/Skill/Knowledge:

  • Supply Chain technology background.

  • Procurement and Planning experience.

  • Depth of experience within categories.

  • Experience in large-scale change management projects.

  • Ability to proactively identify and solve issues using strong analytical and strong decision-making skills.
