Who You Are and What You'll Do

The H&W Senior Financial Analyst role will predominantly support the H&W Finance Team on performance and reporting associated to the management of the GBU. The resource will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financials to Unilever GCAD on a monthly basis, in direct communication with our operating companies and lead the managing and reporting of B/S, WC, Cash KPIs in coordination with Controlling and Central Overheads, A&D, Restructuring related expenses in line with budget and stakeholder requirements.

  • Preparing monthly Financial Reporting for H&W entities for submission to Unilever (GCAD) including balance sheet reporting, WC and Cash flow with supporting analysis (with support from the controlling team for tax, payables, M&A), by liaising with OPCO Finance teams; manage financial reporting process collecting inputs from business partners and controllers where needed, so that all reporting is done in line with the GCAD’s financial reporting instructions and on time.

  • Be the first point of contact for GPM in Financial Reporting and providing cash position and monthly performance vs cash target, representing H&W Performance team and operating companies

  • Prepare forecasts and reports for cash and working capital management of H&W collective, review with actuals and present positions to H&W CFO on a monthly basis

  • Support H&W Finance Team in annual planning and budget setting process in line with GPM requirements and timelines

  • Contribute to Financial Reporting guidance to H&W acquired company finance teams in coordination with Management Reporting requirements

  • Support in financial stewardship and reporting initiatives for the current and future acquired operating companies

  • Support the line manager to prepare presentations for the CFO Finflex meeting collecting inputs from Controlling/Tech partners in particular for Finance Tech Integration or other projects as required

  • Maintain inventories trackers and reports for H&W Collective

  • Overhead’s performance management: Reporting, forecasting & tracking including Global Charges to support monthly Performance reviews

  • A&D, Capex and Restructuring expenses performance management; Reporting, forecasting & tracking to monitor budget depletion

  • Undertaking regular performance analysis to determine trends and provide insights to H&W leadership teams to help drive strategic business decisions

  • Supporting the development of cutting-edge business insights tools for WC, Cash, Capex and Inventories and KPIs related using the latest technology, working closely with third party developers, D&A and tech teams

  • Collaborate with Controlling, tech, D&A, third parties for the achievement of collective OKRs with respect to the competent initiatives

  • Supporting Performance team in preparation of board and leadership team meetings through effective storytelling and communication

  • Leading ad hoc requests and insights into performance anomalies and one-off topics

  • Integrating future acquisitions and ensuring smooth transition into the H&W GBU

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of relevant financial reporting experience
  • Qualified accountant or equivalent or studying towards professional accounting qualification a plus
  • Passionate about finding optimisation, simplification, and automation opportunities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building inside and out
  • Excellent engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to own & drive the agenda for the business (pro-active & independent worker)
  • Ability to effectively business partner and build connections with stakeholders without a “formal” partner relationship

Pay: The pay range for this position is $67,000 to $100,500 Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
