Category Quality Asst. Manager - Fixed Term Contract

Responsibilities:

1. Implements Unilever Quality Management System for Quality Assurance and Control in factory and conducts QMS Verification process to ensure compliance to UL QMS and standards

2. Implements and complies with Unilever technology standards and Good Manufacturing Practices in factory

3. Complies with all local regulatory requirements and ethnic and religious requirements are in place and attained such as Kosher, Halal, etc. at manufacturing sites

4. Develops, implements and updates HACCP plan from design to consumption and puts in place, validates and verifies prerequisite programs for risk mitigation (e.g. cleaning)

5. Applies traceability, controls, inspection and sampling plans aligned with the requirements and risks such as allergens, microbiological and chemical contamination

6. Conducts required testing and release to assess Quality throughout production cycle and applies good laboratory practices

7. Reviews and Analyzes operational KPIs, loss trees, data and document results for trends to maintain quality performance in required ranges

8. Conducts process capability validation studies and uses information to validate specification limits

9. Uses, maintains and calibrates relevant measurement equipment

10. Monitors supplier’s performance for bought in materials and services and partners with Procurement to improve quality of inbound materials by acting on performance trends, engaging suppliers, promoting continuous improvement and identifying best practices

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Chemist with at least 3 years supervisory experience as Site Quality leader
• With strong knowledge and working experience in HACCP and GMP and QA standards preferably in a Consumer goods company
• Amenable for fixed-term employment
• Willing to be assigned in Paco, Manila
