Job Title: BU, CMI Head - South Asia

Work Location: Mumbai HQ

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

The main purpose of this job is to lead the strategic thinking and partner with one of our Businesses for the South Asia cluster. The partnering will involve inspiring the Business with more ideas for growth, provoking them by challenging some set beliefs and practices backed by evidence and insight, and follow-through actions on recommendations to lead to transformational growth.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Partner with the South Asia BU Business for growth.
  • Partner across CCBTs to ensure the execution of ideas for impact.
  • Lead the integration of the BU CMI SA team to make it a force to reckon with.
  • Spot & Execute trends by collaborating with SBA, CEC, CSP, and other sources and provide the business with future innovation ideas for portfolio transformation and growth.
  • Share best practices from the region across the Global BU CMILT and scale-proven models within South Asia Business Unit.
  • Drive lean & new methodologies within the cluster X division without compromising on rigor.
  • Build talent and teams within CMI and mentor future talent.
  • Drive efficiencies in Business practices across the funnel.
  • Build a CMI team for BU SA which is high on both ‘High Tech and High Touch’ solutions for creating business impact and growth.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 15 years experience in Marketing and/ or in Market Research – Proficiency in new age data and analytics
  • Strong standards of leadership, particularly the ones relating to consumer (Consumer Love) / people focus (Talent Magnet) and leading teams.
  • Exhibit ability to create commercial impact from insights. This needs to be coupled with strong influencing skills to enable transformational action. Thereby exhibiting Passion for high performance based on strong business acumen.
  • Talent catalyst beyond reporting lines
  • Ability to collaborate and experiment both within the division (across functions) and within the function (across specializations)
  • Strong understanding of the basics of digital marketing and an appreciation for analytics
  • Strong understanding of CMI tools and techniques.
  • Proven record in successfully leading big teams.
