Over the past 5-years, Meal Delivery has become commonplace in ANZ, with Deliveroo and UberEATS entering the Australian market in 2016.  Online food delivery is no longer the way of the future. It is the way of life NOW.

Unilever has established itself as a key player in this market by enabling consumers to order Ice Cream wherever they are, whenever they want, and get this delivered in 30 minutes (ICNOW). We have a small entrepreneurial ICNOW team who runs an aggressive growth agenda.

Similarly, online only retailers (pureplayers) such as Amazon, Kogan & Catch are making their stamp in Australia and growing at a rapid rate.

These two channels - Pureplay and ICNow - are at the forefront of Unilever’s eCommerce strategy.

We are looking for a Pureplay and ICNow eCommerce Lead to take these channels to the next level, delivering accelerated performance in key pureplayers e.g., Amazon and leading an entrepreneurial ICNow team to further drive Unilever’s presence through existing and emerging quick delivery partners.

Role Summary

Strategy

  • Set-up and deploy clear channel and customer strategies, including launch plans for new brands and segments

  • Develop and own the full P&L for ICNow and Pureplay Customers inc Amazon, Kogan and Catch.com

  • Drive ICNow & Pureplay agenda and thought leadership throughout total business

Team

  • Lead an entrepreneurial team, roles include: ICNow & Pureplay Account Manager, ICNow Operations Manager and dotted line ICNow Brand Manager

Customer Management

  • You will personally manage the customer relationship with key Pureplay Retailers for Unilevers Home, Beauty and Personal Care Category inc all aspects of account management

  • Support ICNow & Pureplay Account Manager in leading the growth partnerships with all key ICNow customers including Uber, Deliveroo, Menulog, Doordash and Pureplay Retailers for the Foods Category

  • Develop strong cross functional internal relationships (Category Managers, Field Managers, Distributors, Finance & Marketing)

Key Projects and Priorities

  • Drive the Pureplay & ICNow roadmap to deliver projects which accelerate growth and set the business up for the future

  • Drive innovative use of technology and digital where relevant in customers – be an early adopter and drive the test & learn agenda

What You will bring

  • 7 years+ experience in a commercial role with responsibilities of online key account management.

  • Business knowledge and understanding of pureplay customers such as Amazon and Catch.com

  • Business knowledge and understanding of quick commerce delivery customers such as UberEATS and Deliveroo

  • Strong verbal, and written communication skills; ability to lead a cross-functional team (up & down); be a critical thinker and be able to focus on details

  • Strong analytical skills and experience turning insights into action for optimised business performance

  • Positive attitude, resilience to adversity, demonstrated conflict-management skills
