We are looking for a Pureplay & On-Demand eCommerce Manager who will leveraging Customer Development and Digital experience to develop a clear strategy for ANZ in collaboration with the Pureplay and ICNow Lead and other stakeholders in the business.  This role will collaborate, build and manage best-in-class operations that ensures Unilever is a frontrunner in the meal delivery space in ANZ, and within Unilever globally.

For Pureplay, this role will own the relationship with key customers for Unilever Foods. This is a small part of the Foods business today in numbers but lots of opportunity to go after here and in further developing our relationship with Amazon, Catch and Kogan.

In total, there are 4 people in the ICNow and Pureplay team with this role reporting directly into the Pureplay & ICNow Lead.  This team sits within the wider eCommerce team and works closely with key stakeholders across the Foods & Refreshments division and with the Unilever Global team.

Role Summary:


  • Set-up and deploy clear channel and customer strategy, including launch plans for new brands and segments

  • Develop and own the full P&L for ICNow

  • Develop and own the full P&L for Unilever Foods in key Pureplay accounts (catch, Kogan, Amazon)

  • Lead ICNOW forecast and ongoing strategic reviews

  • Engage monthly with global ICNOW team and local leadership to share best practice, learnings and insights

  • Drive ICNOW agenda and thought leadership throughout total OOH business

Customer Management

  • Lead the growth partnerships with all key ICNow customers (Uber, Deliveroo, Menulog, Doordash and build relationships with any new delivery partner market entries

  • Develop and deploy aligned customer business plans across all strategic partners

  • Manage key Pureplay customers for the Foods business.

  • Work closely with the ICNOW Brand lead to develop activation calendar with key delivery partners and customers

  • Develop strong cross functional internal relationships (Category Managers, Field Managers, Distributors, Finance & Marketing)

Data & Reporting

  • Ensure all KPI’s are collected and reported from E-commerce customers (Distribution, sales, consumers and operational effectiveness)

  • Own reporting internally and externally, be the data owner for

  • Apply operational rigor and leverage analytics to make sound, data-driven decisions about your business to internal and external stakeholders

  • Optimize overall customer investment by tracking promotional performance and Return on Investment

  • Working alongside finance to complete the monthly and quarterly global reporting requirements

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's Degree; 4+ Years of experience in commercial, digital or related function

  • Strategy development: ability to analyse the market and develop clear recommendations on where and how to win

  • Customer-facing/management experience

  • Experience analysing data and creating reports

  • Strong verbal, and written communication skills; ability to lead a cross-functional team (up & down); be a critical thinker and be able to focus on details
