About the role:

As the People Partner Lead for the Czech and Slovak business, you’ll play a key role in designing and leading the people agenda in partnership with the Head of HR and our Board of Directors. This role is fully a mix of strategic responsibility, for the long-term health of the business, and tactical responsibility for proactively managing employee experiences.

The People Partner Lead role plays a key role in delivering great employee and line manager experiences by being the primary HR contact for a dedicated group of Line Managers and Employees. You have end-to-end responsibility for delivering a great employee experience for key employee moments in CR. You are the partner on all HR activities such as talent management, compensation, on-boarding, leaves of absence, performance management, and other standard processes.

You have good knowledge of HR policies and tools – but a healthy dissatisfaction with the status quo, always thinking about how we can improve our impact or ways of working.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Head of HR to design and lead implementation of programs and projects that either (1) better enable the business to win, (2) better support employees, or (3) enhance collaboration within our HR team

  • Enabling Line Managers and our Board of Directors to be great leaders everyday by being an expert HR partner who can build deep relationships

  • Proactively engaging with the business to execute Key Employee Moments (Moments that Matter – MtM) to support overall engagement

  • Acting as the first “human” point of contact for employee relations matters, developing close relationship with employees and Line Managers and providing them with excellent guidance. You make good HR advice feel accessible and practical.

  • Ensuring that employee policies, practices, and programs are consistently applied across the business

  • Engaging in organizing and implementing workshops, diversity & inclusion initiatives, organizational changes, or wellbeing & development activities for employees, as necessary to support the business

  • Coordinating with our HR Operations team to make sure we responsibly manage employee data and execute standard processes flawlessly, using available technologies

Requirements:

  • Experience 3+ years in HR ideally from FMCG but not a must.

  • Proven capabilities in this HR process: Employee Experience, Building Org. Capabilities, HR Business Partnership, Change Management, On-boarding, Talent Development (identify, retain, develop), Succession Planning

  • Business orientation: we need you to understand the business in its competitive environment and to generate insights about the business unit’s capabilities, organization effectiveness and culture whilst identifying change opportunities that will differentiate our business

  • Fluency in Czech/Slovak and English: you will communicate (speak/write business) in English on daily basis however czech and slovak speaking colleagues will be around as well.
