Role is focused on Quality in the Go to Market operations, implementing, executing, improving, ensuring and providing technical quality support to customers, repacking operations, Brand teams in local innovations, promotions, local CMs for Quality Management System compliance, regulatory compliance, product and pack on-shelf quality. This role is also responsible for incident management, Quality Culture Improvement.
Customer, Consumer & Quality Improvement
Initiates proactive management of quality issues with customers
Participates on SC projects as Q member
Prepares leadership reports, ensures improvement plans are in place
Monitors, and analyses marketplace data from multiple channels to prioritize, escalate and initiate Q improvement activities as appropriate
Regulatory & QMS Compliance
Provides coaching and input to warehouse, repackers and other teams during external regulatory audits & inspections and in implementing UL QMS requirements
Ensures and verifies ongoing compliance to local regulatory requirements in third party re-packers
Validates that new third-party re-packers are capable of meeting UL Quality requirements by conducting technical capability assessments
Incident & Non-conformance management
Provides expertise, leadership and support for resolution of Quality issues related to incidents and product non-conformances
Reports all marketplace non-conformances (A, B, C incidents) using UL IT tools
Leads Local Product Incident management for product related marketplace incidents and consequent actions
Risk management Local Innovations
Make sure that proper Risk Assessment / risk management is in place for locally managed innovation projects
Provide training to CCBTs on Risk Assessment / risk management techniques
Participate in local innovations, by providing expertise, auditing new Collaborative manufacturing partners, gap closing
Local CM support
Provide support to local CMs in implementing UL Quality Standards and in integration together with European Capability Team
Deploys UL Quality strategy, governance and goals through MCO activities
Provides Quality leadership to influence Quality culture through activities to create passion for products and brands, visibility for quality, quality messaging in non-SC company initiatives and coaching of cross-functional leadership across the MCO
Builds Quality talent in MCO through recruitment, coaching, succession planning and training
Participates in local external industry associations
Supports preparation of standards training materials

University degree in technical area, Food engineer or Chemical engineer
Fluency in English, Czech or Slovak language on good level
Minimum 5 years experience in technical area (Quality or R&D, Food)
Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills.
Ability to present written information in a structured and balanced way appropriate to the needs of the reader.
Skill in completing multiple tasks and projects in parallel.
Substantial organizational and analytical skills, ability to pay attention to details.
Ability to transform data into action.
