Purpose of the role:Passionate about food and looking for a new marketing challenge? We are looking for a new member in Unilever Czech Slovakia Foods team who is interested in developing and implementing innovations strategy for Knorr and Hellmann’s brands.

As current Innovations & Strategy Manager is preparing for the role of mom and plus we have another vacancy within the team we want to combine resources depending on your experience, skills & development mindset, this role can have a wider scope and include dressings EE strategy development, defining ambition and growth pillars for Foods CZSK, development of concepts and products against the identified growth categories. Therefore the role can be a perfect jumping board to WL2 position in the future.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Innovation project management: you will guide innovation / renovation projects from insight through to execution in market. Partnering with a cross functional team across supply chain, R&D and finance, you will be working to design new products (formula/pack/fragrance), gather stakeholder inputs to sign off key project milestones at appropriate times, and manage delivery to an aligned network for stock in warehouse.

  • Reacting & improving our Innovation Working with CCD and the brand communications teams you will conduct thorough post launch evaluations to ensure all learnings are recycled back into the business.

  • Building strong business cases: A critical part of this role will be to provide a sound strategic and financial rationale for each project in terms of what it will bring to the Foods business. This will require you to work closely with the Consumer Insights manager to pull relevant market data and design a cost-effective research plan to demonstrate consumer need and size of opportunity. You will also need to work with the cross functional team to ensure that new products meet cost of goods and margin targets, with a fully modelled financial business case.

  • Cooperation with other EE countries and Brand Development team. Actively explore new relationships that can help bring theFoods business  to the next level

  • Trendspotting for opportunities .

Additional responsibilities if you are applying for wider scope of a role:

  • Define Innovation strategy including ambition and growth pillars enabling to address this growth space.

  • Define innovation territories / spaces. Concept development and qualification of projects addressing given Innovation Pillar.

  • Develop consumer-focused EE Dressings category strategy including sourcing and value-for-money strategy.

  • We are looking for someone with 1+ years experience in marketing with proven capability or past experience in… 

  • Excellent organization skills in managing projects from start to finish, and on time

  • Proven experience of prioritizing and organizing work across projects in a dynamic working environment

  • Analytical capability – when have you interpreted data and put it to practical use?

  • Confidence in preparing and presenting plans to the team and to senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to work with people across different functions and with different working styles.

  • Understanding of how business cases and the category/brand P&L is structured

Other requirements:

  • Achieved level of education: min. bachelor degree, preferably in business area.

  • Fluency in English. Czech/Slovak not required but always welcome.

  • Possible to work remotely (from a place of similar time zone).

  • Basic understanding of Czech/Slovak consumer and market is a must.
